Yes at the top of the backswing, ideally the face of the bat should be angled towards point, this generates a bit of a wip that increases power

Hi sir, as an opener when I try to get runs in the powerplay against fast bowlers, I feel that I can’t pick the length properly( what I mean by this is that I end up trying to hit even good length balls over the fielders head, when I should wait for the one in my slot). So for this problem, instead I wait for the ball outside off stump and try to hit that over cover, is this fine or should I work on learning to read the ball and hitting it. ( by the way, I have no problem picking length while hitting the ball along the ground and I only have problems picking the length against pacers with good pace when hitting over the top).
Move back and across for the trigger movement.

What sort of speeds are we talking about here 70+mph? About 0.6 secs from wicket to wicket! How would you recommend building towards getting used to those sorts of speeds. What S.M.A.R.T goals would you set for someone aiming to play at a level where they could be facing 70+mph (130+km/h) speeds?
If its a confidence thing, go with tennis balls or those red slaz balls, they help build confidence. Once you are confident get the hard balls going. Honestly you just have to face fast balls, bowling machine, batting against specific bowlers or using a robo-arm.
The more you hit, the more second nature it becomes. The goals would be player dependent, wont be able to answer that one for you. (You need to score more runs and take more wickets that the guys/girls up there currently) it's the harsh reality of it.

For the sweep shot, it's a little bit of both, you actively look to sweep if the chance provides itself.🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thanks coach....... now i am able to play fast bowling a lot more easier.......but i am only having some problems with lofted shots as i am not able to middle the ball it goes till the end of the boundary rope and the fielder takes the catch......anyway amazing video and thanks for the tips...😊😊👌👌
