With players turning to the short format more and more (a subject for another day), surely we won't ever see the like of these two, either in tandem or individually, ever again. Fantastic.

As an Aussie have always had huge respect for Jimmy on and off the field... Broad another issue. But I loved how personable both of them were, how respectful of a couple of club cricketers. Great video, great insight into Jimmy and Stuarts collaboration and clear friendship.
I think Jimmy is the greatest swing bowler I've ever seen (that's high praise coming from an Aussie who saw Bob Massie and Terry Alderman before his shoulder injury). Jimmy's just better - more consistent, a bit quicker in his prime and he's still going strong. Broady is great when conditions suit him - the extra height and bounce makes him a nightmare on a pitch with a bit of juice in it and he really understands his strengths. But in Australia he's been less effective often bowling too short. It will be interesting to see who England picks in the Ashes with so many good options. Personally I hope they go for out and out pace with Archer and Wood - spicy. That's an attack no one wants to face.
Having watched a few videos featuring Broad I genuinely feel like he comes into these trifles with an open mind and having fun. Instead of walking off when this is over, I feel like he would just stick around doing this for fun. Good guy.
To think this was filmed just a 4-5 minute walk away from my home...I need to visit the Lords soon, it would be a dream come true. I had no idea players just practised there.
Anderson and Broad were at most 60 percent of what they are truly capable of. Just imagining them at 100% in an international match gives me goosebumps. I would surely tremble while facing them. Great to see you guys play so well..🤩

I'm 48 and when he first got picked for England I was already old enough to consider him a young scamp with a haircut I didn't understand. It's late July, last day of the 4th test of the Ashes coming up, and I'm Australian, nervous as anything, and stumbled across this. Despite all the hostility of this Ashes, it's really, really hard to dislike either of these 2 English legends watching this. Good form guys 🙂

As a bowler myself, it's not so much their bowling that fascinates me, but their constantly trying to think up tactics and ideas to get the batsman out. I could only aspire to be good enough at bowling to have enough of an arsenal to warrant that sort of decision making. Though maybe I can learn something from it to keep up my 2 wickets per game I've been averaging so far this season. (Total figures this season: 10 wickets, 81 runs conceded, 31.0 overs bowled. A wicket every 3 overs, and an economy of 2.61. Let's just not mention that I'm yet to register a hit, never mind a run in my batting innings...)
Good effort lads. I was unlucky enough to have a net session back in 2005-2006 roughly. At Bradman oval (my hometown) in Bowral. The NSW blues we’re doing a mid week training camp there. Being only 1.5hr drive from Sydney. Yeah had Brett lee come over while we were training and he had a bowl of 5 steps.. unbelievable quick. Then 1st grade came in and he was coming off 10 steps. Was soo good to watch raw pace like that off little run up

This was brilliant! Good to see Broad and Anderson as regular human beings whilst displaying their skillsets! It is interesting to note that if it doesn’t swing or seam - club cricketers can play them! I know they weren’t going full tilt but you could see it wasn’t impossible! You couldn’t say the same of guys like McGrath Akram Ambrose or even Starc Cummins Hazelwood Shami and Bumrah from recent times! Once it starts swinging Anderson and Broad are unplayable - as the 1200 wickets suggest!
