From learning how to bowl in the USA just a few months back, being considered a legend already is an insane level up.
U had me at first line😂
@@RahulJain-gw6lu?
@@user-zf4wm8ng4w well some bowling instructors were teaching Dale Steyn how to bowl in USA they didn't know that it was a human bowling machine they were teaching 😂
@@RahulJain-gw6lu ohhhhhh
That's actually true 😂😂😂
Steyn was nunber 1 for 263 weeks and 2343 days consecutively . GOAT 🐐
Useless comment from a useless person
Sheer Genius
Sangakkara is Test No.01 Batter in 4 consecutive years.
Don't forget it 🤔
GOAT word has been used in India unnecessarily for the last few years, since there is no other sport apart from Cricket in India which is truly popular, this term is fairly new to a country where there is no sporting culture. Steyn ws the greatest of his era, not the greatest of all time!
@@Remen-tj3ph steyn has one of the best avg among fast bowlers, equalling the likes of ashwin and lyon .... one of the greats if not the GOAT
Steyn, Sanga and Brodie....what a bunch of legends!!
And Wardie!
This is genuinely world class TV. There is nothing like cricket coverage. As a football fan we get so much less insight than what sky produce for cricket. Such a great coversation. So interesting to see how bowlers with different assets and skills go about taking wickets
It's far better than star sports
Sadly none of the cricket is FTA. All that production is behind a paywall. Hardly anyone there to watch it.
@@AshishSingh-ef5yqJust don't name that mockery of a cricket channel here🤣
@@AshishSingh-ef5yqnot a line about Kohli. Producers haven't breathed for a day now. 😢
Wow...Steyn , Broad 1043 wickets combined...Sangakaara 12,400 test runs at an staggering average of 57.76 alongwith 38 test centuries.....three legends of the game at the same place....
11 double tons too
@@thiwankamindada9235 12th one missed due to wrong out call of umpire, if not,he level with Sir.Donald Bradman or obviously will pass him.
Wherever we may come from, we all have imitated Steyn's action in those days. haven't we?
And it feels so good. So much pace through the crease, the big snap at the delivery stride, the Steyn scowl that goes with it - heaps of fun to imitate.
no not really
I haven’t though i m a big fan
Sanga was elegant in batting and speaking
3 greats. Dale is the best of this generation.
Sanga still middling the bowls, what a player
My son's legend..Dale steyn...🇱🇰💕🇿🇦
former no.01 test bowler and No.01 Test batman
*Our hero lot love from me my sanga * 😢 ❤ [ *SRI LANKA* ] 🇱🇰
That American guy in the indoor centre has taught Dale really well.
the greatest test baller praising jimmy is really awesome
One of the greatest
The greatest
He was also the greatest in odi been no 1 for six consecutive years
@@M.HarrisZia786 how is no 1 for six years make him the greatest? He is surely the greatest of his era, but comparing players from different eras is not fair.
42 mins worth of content... I love how legends talk about their game

All GOAT's are retired and that makes me feel old as well. Thanks Jimmy Anderson, there will never be another one like you. Go well
Bumrah, Cummins, Starc, Hazelwood, still bowling
Bumrah is better@Ndidusbbssj
Cummins got no skills@@jetpark3743
This is the thing I love about cricket. Such a technical sport.
Yup very technical
And the fact that every bowler is different technically too!
What a lovely discussion , Stuart broad has got some real infectious energy and smile and Dale is a wonderful character .
So that man in America really taught Dale how to bowl eh.
This comment deserves to be pinned 😂
🤣🤣🤣 he learnt fast and well!!
What a shame of americans
Imagine Jimmy & Steyn are your opening bowlers on a cloudy morning at Lord's, nightmare for batters.
Stuart Broad as 1st change then at Lord's??
@@tirthendukarmakar3600 RIP for batters. 2nd change Shoaib.
No broad is avg@@tirthendukarmakar3600
Or Murli and warne in Mumbai day 4 pitch,
A nightmare for batsmen really
sanga and mahela waiting for them
Incredible insight from one of the best to ever do it- imagine if Dale Steyn clocked 100+ games. And his comment about not looking at the pitch?? Unbelievable 🤯
Steyn’s competitive instincts didn’t allow him to abandon around the wicket line even though he was over pitching. He really wanted to get one right and beat the bat atleast once.
Sanga and that technique, just almost impossible to get him out
Seeing Kumar and Steyn together reminds me of the few years they played together from 2011 to 2013 for Deccan Chargers, which then became Sunrisers Hyderabad
The perfect was Steyn home and away .But well done to Jimmy what a career.
Glen McGrath!

It's a crime not to include Sanga's name in the title. Even Stuie Broad for that matter.
Three legends in one frame❤🎉
i have never been fascinated as much as by any bowler like dale steyn
Stuart broad my favourite bowler since childhood
Sangas footwork😭😍so nice to watch.
Sanga can still walk into any test team in the world
The Greatest to have ever come out of our shores Dale Legend
This is such a beautiful insert by Sky Sports, if I wasn't in my thirties I'd go to primary school and learn how to bowl 😅 what a technical masterclass by arguably the best seamers of all time
Never too late, dude. Find a local team and get stuck in! You might not become Dale or Stuart but you’ll have a lot of fun.
@@NicolaiAwesome love this reply man🤝 never too late. Just go out there and have fun
Steyn is probably the most passionate and the most skilled fast bowler in the last 10-15 years. He belongs to the exclusive club of Akram and McGrath.
At first, I thought Ian would play Dale, and I was like "Ian, you better stay in your lane!". Great players and great knowledge on bowling rhythm and skills. Broady is so humble for his level of achievements. Great to see you all and giving us some tips. Sanga, class as always!
Great to see the legendary bowlers styne and Broady 🤌💙
Great start to my Saturday
One can’t look away from this riveting viewing. Steyn is so infectious, while the knowledge shared amongst the trio is unmatched. World-class piece featuring world-class humans.
Sanga, Dale, brodie ❤
I thought this was very interesting and loved the different ways of doing this both bowlers had different styles but it works for them.
2 Artists🐐🐐🐐
So happy to see Stayn, Broad and especially Sanga even playing in the nets now ❤ 🇱🇰
Steyn is the only overseas pace bowler to take 3 5-fers in Asia in the last 30 years. Mcgrath and Anderson took 1. He is the only bowler to take 7fer in India.
He was a great bowler but man he was a nightmare for Indian batsmen.
Dale Steyn of South Africa 🇿🇦-One of the all-Time Greats of Fast Bowlers-Here's a Question I would like to ask Dale (How do you adapt your Fast Bowling Techniques in Subcontinent Conditions-How did you naturally swing the Ball in those Hot and Dry Cracked Wickets in India,Pakistan,Bangladesh and Sri Lanka?
Just seeing steyn shine the ball, subconsciously knowing Sanga is creaming him through the covers is priceless
I would love to see a Steyn, Jimmy and Broady podcast
9:18 when you play cricket hold the ball like this 9:18 9:18 🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Steyn ❤️🇱🇰
Jimmy's last 400+ wickets were taken at 21.48. (Since the New Years test at the the SCG in 2011)
His overall average is very influenced by how much he, and others messed with his action for the first 5 years of his career. Worried about his "head dip" being too extreme and the damage it would cause to his back/
In the last 12 years he has taken 400+ wickets at 21.48 - The same sort of average as Steyn, Marshall and others.
His overall average is very negatively influenced by his first years. He got better as he got older. He had a "Steyn like" career in terms of average after reaching 250 wickets.
You can’t cherry pick eras. If you take the best years of Dale, his average is under 20. His first 3 years his average was over 40.
Steyn and Broad just chatting about pace bowling for 42 minutes is the height of TH-cam.
Steyn in full flight was an absolute joy to watch❤
Amazing. Been fan of Masterclass series since they started and this one, Hands down the best masterclass by sky cricket has ever done. 👍👍
Such an educational piece.
3 great bowlers however dale is better than other two. He was scary one and his celebration was next level.
Can't believe 42 minutes went by so quickly! Felt more like 20.
this legendary bowlers make the game greater
I really needed this! So awesome to hear in detail how these legends go about their work and see them be able to still do it even tho being retired for years
This video is worth every second.
Dale Steyn... One of FAST bowling's GOATS!!! Got way too little respect while he played. What a bowler. Best in my mind.
Sanga❤️
steyn having a bad time(his words) in england having an avg of 32 shows the greatness and humbleness of the guy
Amazing that they're making such a big thing about bowling round the wicket.
Both brill but how good are those drives from Kumar Sangakkara, even after retirement? I was musing why I can't hit the ball like that for my team and then realised it's because I have no talent. Still, have plenty of talent for drinking beer after the match so that kind of makes up for it, or, umm, something.
Dale Steyn you are my Fast Bowling GOAT 🐐
Steyny enjoying himself. Great to see
Such a pleasure listening to Dale Steyn
That intro Spidey cam turn and zoom was smooooooooth!
The greatest sport in the world and just wonderful to hear the best talking about playing this game. Keep this coming
Made my day seeing sanga batting ❤
my idol dale steyn love from sri lanka
Dale Steyn what a legend
Sanga we miss you ❤❤❤
Young Steyn vs Prime Sanga ❤
Wonderful technical discussion. Steyn, Anderson and Broad would have been a wonderful pace trio for all conditions.
GOAT ALL FORMAT BOWLER IS STEYN. HE TERRIORISED BOWLERS EVEN IN THE IPL OR T20 WORLD CUP
Sanga 🎉❤❤❤
Jimmy has one of the smoothest bowling action..it’s almost effortless.
Always an absolute pleasure to listen to top class cricketers sharing their knowledge of the game.
Sanga 🎉❤
The masterclasses should never stop coming ❤
I would put Steyn in Top-5 bowlers of all-time behind Murali, McGrath, Akram... Par with Ambrose, Marshall
Jimmy is in top 15 behind above 6 and Waqar, Hadlee, Warne, Donald, Barnes, Garner... Par with Holding, Walsh, Kumble, Kapil Dev, Imran Khan, Pollock, Lillee.... Better than next crop of Broad, Ashwin, Herath, Lyon !
Dale Steyn sounds much nicer than he must have seemed when he was steaming in....
Did Dale really mention he had a horrible record in England. He had taken so many wickets in England
This video is pure gold.
Dale Steyn is one of the two all conditions and formats player in this century. McGrath is other. Anderson was good in 2012 India tour but nothing else in Asia, not so great record in Aus
this clouderson criticism and the narrative that jimmy's terrible in asia is just a blatant lie though...
since the start of 2020 he's averaged around 23 in australia, 19 in pakistan, 16 in india, 10 in nz, 10 in SA, and around 8 in SL... crazy numbers
in the same time period his *worst* record has been in ENGLAND of all places 🤣🤣🤣 so jimmy for the last 4-5 years at the very least, has not been a flat track bully in fact he's far from it
@@benfuller2890
