By far one of my most favorite channels I’ve came across
All you need is to use Vibrant HD Clamps instead of couplers, they’ll take all the boost. 5:38
Put O ring flange clamps on all the charge pipes and you’ll have zero issues. The nice part about them is compared to a V band they can still move around!
Wrap your AN lines with masking tape before you cut them helps prevent fraying and use a grinder with a cut off wheel

It's divided like that so each side of the three cylinders are not fighting each other. You could try to see if they have a Twin Scroll exhaust housing, which would be a good way to use all the exhaust gasses more efficiently.

Well Bruce I’m gonna give ya my 2 cents, I have before since I’ve been fallowing you channel since before you got Blue Collar. You keep running around your shop lot with no air filters on your toys and you’ll be lunching engines left and right. It doesn’t take much dust ingested into the engine to scrape one. Just ask the guys on C&C equipment channel. Just sayin.
Old pull hood handle you removed you can install in front part of grill on top under Swan, holes are already there. Look into it please. I hope you read this msg.
The positive air shutoff or we call them Rig Savers are a must in the oil fields and gas plants. The odd one gets shut off and the engine won’t start. Nothing like going on a service trip in the middle of nowhere many miles from the shop and have to trip the lever back and presto the truck starts, my kind of service trip. It’s not the physical size of the turbo but the amount of air it puts out. Years ago the physical size and weighing well over a hundred pounds needed special supports but the newer smaller turbos put out a lot more volume of air. Enjoy the video, keep putting them out, can’t wait to see the truck in action, cheers.

@@dougn6465 up in Alberta and British Columbia, your not allowed to get on the sites unless you have a positive air shut off, and must be able to be tripped manually or the ECM shuts it down. The ECM shuts it down on R.P.M. Has saved many engines over the years a
@@gerryspang5917 guess u didn’t understand my question. What machines are required to run them? Didn’t ask what they are for or how do they work. We are running 20 cummins tier 4 frac rigs here in west Texas and none of them run air shutoffs.
@@dougn6465 pretty well all the engines in the oilfield or gas plants, any place where there is a chance of fumes being able to feed the engines, my son repairs flow meters on the pipelines in Western Canada and he needs them on his Ram truck . If you don’t have one you’re not allowed on site, they do random tests to make sure they work. It’s been that way for years, I remember back in the eighties Barber Engineering was the source we used, they were called a rig saver I worked at Cummins and even put them on Gen Sets powered by the K 19 don’t know what the rules are there .
@@gerryspang5917 maybe it’s a Canada thing. I’m sitting on a frac site in west Tx as I type this. None of our 22 frac pumps, multiple tractor trailers, ford & dodge trucks, blender, hydration, or Chem diesel engines use them.

@@jonnothetrucker I think he has experience I thought he used to have a pull truck like a pick up back in the day he use to run but just doesn't have experience with semi truck pulls but I'm not 💯 on it though

A long radius bend off the turbo would flow so much better than the short radius bend you have now and what's stopping crankcase pressure blowing the turbo oil return out of the block
It’s gonna suck for you at a nice fall truck pull. If you come north with that unit. You don’t need Ac. But defrost is nice. Helps keep the windshield clear.

I like the adaptors. The only think I would say is put a retaining clip on the return line. Because you have a rigid pipe and how you will have a braided line. Once case pressure increases it will blow that out of the socket.
The truck is to tape your ends and cut in the Middle of the tape for your pipes 👌

Not sure if you already did something about the charge pipe, but it almost looks like you can make your own flange mount at the end of the turbo, like making a groove around the opening and putting a clamp around it like with the hood stack

Well if you know, just loosen the v-clamps on both sides and just spin where you need them to line up. The center housing oil lines remain in the same position due to the exhaust manifold bolts.
