- this is basically a remake of a video i made of joe before that i had to take down. i tried too hard to copy the taskmaster channel (sorry, guys!)

Joe having a very minor outburst and then apologising very politely is already funny, but it is only heightened by that fact that he was in this season with lou and iain, two of the most audibly competitive people on taskmaster, and sian gibson who spent most of the season screaming

Lou Sanders really ruined this series for me, Iain and her get so competitive they stress me out (but at least Iain is fun to watch, Lou is just annoying)

The saving grace of Series 8 for me. Absolute brilliant lad.
Paul gave me some of my funniest moments. I was honestly crying with laughter watching his ping pong herding task. But Joe was by far my favourite.
After rewatching Series 8 multiple times, I feel once you know Iain will have a redemption arc in the end the whole series becomes fun to watch. So a rough first watch but incredible rewatchability value for me. Especially since they have some of the best tasks in this series I'd absolutely love to do personally
I've never disliked a contestant on the show as they all have their strengths and add their own dynamics to the cast, but some of those team tasks with Iain were horrible aha, at least he had the grace to react appalled by his own behaviour
Although this season wasn't the best him and Paul were absolutely amazing to watch, Joe was so sweet and really tried in everything he did
Agreed! Joe is just so sweet, and Paul has this quiet and dry humour that catches you off-guard. I was actually considering skipping this season after a few episodes but I just love those two too much.
He did have a solid point though about people just cheating tasks and putting in zero effort. When Bill Murray cheated at least that required effort, people that just don't even try make for really boring watching

He's soo brilliantly awkward and confused at all times :') I never really got into his character on inbetweeners because his reactions were always soo over the top compared to the rest of his character but watching this im just like...oh thats just how awkward and confused Joe genuinely is :')

Joe was the only one I knew when I started this season, and I ended up loving all of them like in all the other season. But Joe will still be one of my top contestants in the show.

Despite the initial awkward meeting, I think Sian and Joe made a lovely team. Them laughing together about playing the record backwards and Joe's reaction when Sian suggests putting the hammock on the ground are wholesome af.

Series 8 was pretty fun, not my fave but i love the cast to bits (joe especially) but Iain and Lou's competetiveness versus Joe and Sian's wholesome variety hour was a delight

i wanted to come back to this comment since Iain is gonna be on the Taskmaster Podcast and i saw some rude comments about him online, i really liked Iain's run on S8 because he and Lou had a natural competitiveness that they used against each other a lot, i found it really similar to Ed and Rose from S9 who are friends outside of the show who are ridiculously competitive, just wanted to put that out there since many rag on S8 for being too competitive but i thoroughly enjoy the competitiveness

Honestly Series 7 and series 8 are my favorite, I honestly enjoyed Lou’s & Iain’s competitiveness, it adds to the series

I just listened to Iain Sterling on the Taskmaster podcast. He said people ask him if Joe is really like that, and he said it seemed Joe put on some bravado and charisma for the cameras. So if people think he’s strange or awkward onscreen…lol
