Unless you are adjusting the carb every outing they have to run in conditions ranging from +10 to -30 with the 24:1 ratio you have protection thats why Jiffy Recommended that Ratio for 30 plus years it was only when they had to meet emission standards they changed.

Says 24-1 on Auger. Jiffy changed it to 40-1 . Believe me they run a lot better. Less hard, starting less flooding out more power.
