These generators are pure Chinese junk! I’ve had nothing but problems - constantly fixing it, trying to get spare parts ( most of the time I’ve been told they’re not available). Finally junked it and bought a Honda. You get what you pay for

Just out of curiosity, was the original engine a B&S Intek engine? It looked like one. I'm in a similar situation and refuse to put another Intek junk back in my Husqvarna. Really just wanted to put an equivalent Kohler in & be done but wasn't sure about harness being compatible. I know some in my era tractor (YTH 2348) came with Kohler's just curious if a 7000 series will swap over in place of a 23 hp Intek

Im having the same problem with my thumb throttle not tight enough to push on that internal safety without pressure on throttle. How did you fix it?

That’s a shame you had to use vice grips to tighten up that bolt nut and you can use a 10 mm wrench

Have one thats practically new i keep the oil change new spark plug am checking the oil in one day it continues do get low an notice oil is blowing through the air filter an oil is all around the carburetor a practically new generator can someone tell what that can be

Lewis, I have the same model snowblower. Is there an adjustment on the carb as mine, when I move the choke/run handle to Run, the engine surges. If I slowly move it back towards the choke position, it smooths out. Any advise? sounds like it's running lean. Thanks, Bob

They can be fixed it's a lot of labour and not worth the parts

Jesus..putting the flywheel nut on with plyers??? They need to be torqued to 60 lbs at least...can't remember for sure but..... That flywheel will spin and not only cut the key off but most likely ruin the end of the crank.

Your coworker needs a set of new blades. The ice shaving was horrible and it took forever to cut that hole. I used to have an old auger like that till the piston fried after 10 years. The new strikermaster solo is where it is at with gas augers. Best power and speed - no more gas tank venting either.

I wondered if you could tell me what size the tubing frame is on that generator? There is a wheel kit that fits it, and I think it would fit my different model generator depending on the tubing size. It looks to be about 7/8" or 1" maybe???
