There never seems to be enough time in my day to get away and wet my lines. I appreciate you for allowing me to vicariously fish through your adventures. Thank you
Back in april we took a trip to Philadelphia for the dover nascar race and while we were over there I convened my dad to take me to a cabelas to see the differences of lure selection from there to the the bass pro I have here in SoCal and I found out its a big difference but I also noticed how small Delaware was compared to California so I thought that the cabelas that might be the one you go to. So as soon as I went back to the hotel I instantly went to your channel and found one of your video that had the cabelas in it and turns out it was the cabelas you got to! I was so hyped that I went to your cabelas and it was the first one I ever been to.
@FirstStateFishing bro, feather your reel after you cast. This means keeping an index finger near the reel as the line is going out after you cast. Helps control distance that way, say you cast near a dock you can stop lure before it hit the dock. You stop lure with the tip of the index finger.
I would love to see some true "Delta"/"River" fishing. Get to some "Delta" fishing stuff. For the anglers out there, is pound fishing and "man made" lake fishing truly considered fishing? Enquiring minds want to know, I want to know.
Nice Trout! I see your still rockin that boot. When does that boot come off? Really puts a damper on creek fishing. Ever think about about a video on catching and using your own bait for creek fishing, Catching night crawlers at night using a flashlight after a rain; got to be quick, or turning over rocks, rotting tree stumps for what ever you find. Grubs and salamanders? Almost as much fun as fishing.
I’m new to fishing and I never catch anything, tried different lures and baits, different strategies and different times of day, out of my many trips I’ve only caught a tiny sunfish in a creek😂
Mike when your foot heals up and you are good to start wading the creeks again you should bust out the old fly rod and try and catch some red breast or whatever bites on some little dry flies. It works surprisingly well! Love the vids bro been here 3+ years.
You should buy the a bell because if you are fishing where you have to wait to catch a fish you have to buy it if the fish is pulling your bait or what ever you using
What would you put in if you made your own fishing kit? 🤔🎣
I don't know I never thought of it
Aye I see u lookin fresh with a new cut 😤
Usually blue squid jigs work for me
Definitely a whopper plopper or a spook
A 4 1/2 inch watermelon zoom finesse worm
The snake is a banded water snake. Harmless to humans, they can bite but aren’t venomous.
I appreciate people like you, thank you

You can never go wrong with a hellgrammite lure in your arsenal.
You should get a panfish and trout mystery tackle box and use only what is in it
Agreed
White Curly tail grub on 1/32 oz jig head is a must for my kit!
Im sick today and this made me feel better
I’ve been waiting for this video! Awesome as always, keep it up!
Tip with the TRDs, they melt FAST in a tackle box, I just keep them in the package. Only downside of em. I have caught tons of fish on them.
Thanks sooooo so much for making this man!!! It will help me a ton in Ohio!
Fly fish the creek !!!!!!!!
Legend has it FirstState is still sneezing
Creek fishing! IYKYK 😎 Beautiful trout brother
Good times, great variety of fish too! Awesome

Great video. Gotta add a chartreuse road runner underspin jig with a light green curly tail grub for creeks. They're lethal on crappie and sunnies
Love these videos!
Love these videos. More creek videos
Rebel micro Craw is the best Creek hard bait hands down.! 2-1-2” helgramite on a hook kills too!👍👍👍
1:07 thousand quart, huh? Not 100Qt? Cuz i definitely dont think 250 gallons are fitting in that
Did a pretty good job to me. A lot of those dumb looking mini cranks people toss away are good in creeks too.
I’m new to fishing and I never catch anything, tried different lures and baits, different strategies and different times of day, out of my many trips I’ve only caught a tiny sunfish in a creek😂
Those slinkos looking kinda fire especially for a Ned Rig
Love the vids man!
awesome video i really like your choices for tackle what type of rod and reel would you recommend
I was wondering if you ever found any new music you liked for the summertime? They put some really nice size trout in there this year, nice catch!
Keep going bro u got this
I would have a Mepp's black fury the black and chartreuse color in particular & a rapala CD5 in my creek fishing kit for sure!
Something I’d have to put in my creek fishing tackle box would have to be a rebel tracdown and grasshopper mini crank from rebel as well
Mike when your foot heals up and you are good to start wading the creeks again you should bust out the old fly rod and try and catch some red breast or whatever bites on some little dry flies. It works surprisingly well! Love the vids bro been here 3+ years.
Would love to see some smallmouth popper action too
First state love the vids
I can tell you back in the 302 with that fly haircut
Could you do some river fishing for bass/catfish/sunfish?
Btw nice vid bro you make the best fishing vids
I think next video you should do a $25 Walmart creek fishing kit
My two go to is the trout magnet(mealworm gold) and the rapala minnow
You should buy the a bell because if you are fishing where you have to wait to catch a fish you have to buy it if the fish is pulling your bait or what ever you using
That's awesome your in de I live in Wilmington de it's like 20 min away from cabels
Made it kinda late but still great job like I said love watching the creek and DIY fishing vid
I just saw u down is southern Delaware u catch anything at cape Henlopen fishing pier
Should let us make you a custom Long Lake Custom Tackle kit
Have you tried tenkara creek fishing?
That Zman hell razer is a new top water bait
You can't go wrong with gulp waxies in the creek
You dont wanna put zman soft plastic in with other soft plastics though it will make them all melt
2” Yum Grub most definitely be in mine
Stick/soda can stick a hook stale bread and motivation is all you need my pr is a 5 pounder 😂
I wish I had these sort of shops in Australia
Me and my boy only started fishing 2 days ago. I feel like that's good for at least 2 years of experience. That being said, a shimano reel...
rapala sinking brown trout pattern, the tiny one
That’s one problem iv always had trout fishing is being able to unhook them without them bleeding on me or something. Super sensitive fish.
Keitech at 5 bucks ? Holly horse !!!! I pay 9 where i am. I've switched to Reins Rockvibe, 16 pieces for less money.
Vid 7 of asking to do a deep sea fishing vid
What rod and real do you use?
Bro who designed the bridge.💀
fr there’s a random pillar wall without even being attached to the bridge
Where is that location/ - Is that by UD?
im 100 putting in some bobby garland baby shads and the rebel crick hopper
FIRST!
omg my favorite youtuber liked my comment 😱
Is this the one near the mall?
Tried my hardest to be the first like but at least I’m the first comment 🤧
i made made own fishing kit for bass and it was great
One I would put in there would be a Pistol Pete with a swivel and 2 spilt shots
Firststatekit (like firstaid kit)
What’s up I get to go fishing tomorrow last week I caught a redbreast and suckers
Legs!!!!
Got a boot aswell was lifting and dropped a 45 plate on my foot
I think its a northern water snake
First like always
You're 5th
How is your foot doing I would really like to know
Add a tube bait
First squad
You're 2nd
My grandson went to Newark HS with you
yo
first forgot to comment
harmles northern water snake
Hi
Don’t real in the trout magnet, let it sit
In Ontario that would be like $60
One i definitely wouldn't have gone there to put a kit together. You're just paying for the name of the baits. I'd have went to Walmart.
Or bass pro because bass pro has a section to wear there’s a whole bunch of micro lures for only a $1 like log jumpers and curly tail pre rigged grubs
Day 3 of asking for a gar fishing vid
He already did one
dont catch and release stocked trout dude they cant survive
It feels like you've had that freakin boot forever now lol how long do you have to wear it
