  • If you have frizzy or slightly wavy hair, try this method to see how beautiful your hair can look left to dry naturally without heat. The products I use should cost no more than £12 in total and are available in most large UK supermarkets or boots!

"Frizz is a curl waiting to happen"... definitely my favourite line 😅. Thank you x

Finding this 4 years later. SO helpful, I've been living with a hidden wave all this time ha! I just thought i'd got lucky and had a frizzy head XD

Oh! You’re the first person I’ve seen actually part your hair when styling. All the other people are just completely upside down and then magically they have a clean parting down their head with no curls out of place!

You are so cherry, you made my day.
I just discovered my curls and having big trouble with frizz, so will be following your suggestions!

I never comment on anything, but I wanted to say it was a delight watching your video. You seem so genuinely lovely and a beautiful soul. I'm just starting my curly/wavy girl journey, and this was a brilliant video to get me started!

Can I just start off by saying you are an absolutely lovely person and I’m so happy I stumbled across this video! I was just about to throw in the towel trying to find an exact video such as yours that celebrates not only our hair type, but leaves us inspired to finally wear our hair naturally! You were so thorough and helpful, finally given us ‘wavy hair girls’ hope and direction! You also just saved us all hundreds of dollars worth of product geared toward the curt hair crowd. I’ve saved all your videos, will be following every step!
    Bless!

Thanks for this video Lucy. I’m on my third wavy girl wash (using Merwaves products) but I didn’t find their videos great. I’ve saved your videos and keep watching. Really easy to follow guide. Would love to see another updated video with more tips if you have any. Thanks again x

The custard doesn't hold my hair - I use curl cream and gel or mousse. I don't leave in conditioner either, as I have fine wavy hair and it's too much weight, which drags the waves out. It just shows you really have to experiment with products to see what works for you!

Thank you!! So helpful, my hair finally looks how I want it to and not a big frizz ball. Is there any tips for day two hair?

Hey, do you use rinse out conditioner in your hair as well as using the leave in conditioner? Or just use the leave in? Your finished results look great!

Hi, thanks for the video, I'm a curly hair beginner and I've just bought the products that you use. Did you wash your hair first though? And if so, was it with a co wash or standard shampoo (clarify)?
    Thanks so much

Thank you! Just tried this as always just straightening my hair or slicking it back as it’s just too frizzy. Want to embrace the curls. I’m currently waiting for my hair to completely bone dry. Wondering how I can do this on holiday as I’m already loving the waves and no frizz… but at the moment my hair is solid 😂

Were you happy with how it turned out? Did all the hard crunchy hair soften up? I wonder if my hair would feel clean with all that product in it 😂

Ha I have stumbled across this today too! Going to give it a go tomorrow using my normal shampoo & cond, then my Garnier Banana mask and the custard, once it arrives 😊 Hope it goes well for you too.

Okay I love this and would totally do it but how do I then go about putting my hair up in a ponytail for work without brushing it it’s gonna be awful

    • @3_up_moon

The amount of moisture your hair needs will make it surprisingly easy to brush it with your fingers. There are brushes you can buy for curly hair too. The Tangle Teaser is one.
