Understanding opinions and attitude is that the "extensive reading"? If so I think it needs analyzing abilities.. That means it suitable for high levels right?
Extensive reading might refer to two things in teaching: reading for pleasure or reading for gist and this is different from reading for the writer’s opinion, which is a challenging skill I agree.
