Everything that is said about Halifax is true... except it's becoming harder and harder to find decent housing at a reasonable cost.😢 Also, the population is increasing rapidly, and Halifax is not ready yet for all those people.
Thank you so much for this. These are the two cities I was actually deciding between. Halifax or Ottawa. I was born and raised in New York City so I'm used to the cold. I love the ocean and I love seafood, but not crazy about nature. I prefer museums, libraries and festival more. And the job search just described for Halifax doesn't sound promising. But, since I have 2 Masters degrees, majored in Public Policy and Administration and have 20 years of transferable human service and education skills so I believe to be near the government in Ottawa may suit me mush better. I also have children as a divorced Mom. This helped a lot! And it's important to have BIPOC professional communities nearby too. Thank you ladies. I'm going to start the Federal Express Entry application. Wish me luck!🤞
