Okay. Having lived in US, almost half century, let me point out some unbalanced information, in this video. 1. How many hours you work depends on type of industry you work. In video game software writing, if you do not work, 80 hours per week, specially in crucial periods, you are certain to be fired. But, working long hours in office is not the norm in banking industry. But, they and almost all other professionals, do part of their work remotely. Just you are doing part of your job in comfy, home environment, does not mean that such hours do not count. In India, large number of people do not work remotely. So, working is not a distributed process as in US, rather it is a batch process. 2. Points about missing family and relatives are spot on. 3. Comments about buying a house being easy are correct if you are in a rural area. Do not even think that you can buy a house if you are in Los Angeles and New York, unless you work remotely, or putting up with hours of commute. But, teleworking is easing things in some professions.
You are inspiration in yourself. Managing household chores and baby and then doing office all together. Such an amazing balanced life and plss also make a video on yout daily routine that how you manage all these things. Love from india❤
Very good. Boht acha laaga! Hit all the important points.. For an older person, India has changed so much. It is no longer India of 1970s, 80s. No longer a sleepy village. So it's not like going home.
Interesting video. And, some good observations around family, career, lifestyle etc. Everyone has a different journey and objective. It's definitely not an easy decision or choice. What makes it complicated, is uncertainty at times and your resistance to struggle.
Pros of living in metro cities India: Hire maids for all chores ...persue hobbies Order groceries online will be delivered in 15 mins Ofcourse livjng with your parents and reletives Nowadays in IT for ppl in Blore the salary is close to 1Cr Then you don't have to think before buying house, car ,iPhone, private schools,etc.. Also in India many companies follow the timeliness..dont usually work more than 8 hours Cons: Bad infrastructure Pros of USA Good infrastructure Cons of USA: Do all the chores on your own Spend time to go to buy groceries After day care yiu have to take care of kids on your own Public schools in USA are not as good as top schools in India 😊 My friends in USA cook food for whole week on Sunday 😅
My husband's sisters want to stay in US 🇺🇸 because they want to stay away from their in laws 🙄 😒 but they want me to take care of their mother.....they want to wear frocks and mini skirt...but i should always wear salwar kameez. ...because their mom hates daughter in law wearing jeans...They want to live life as they want...but they want me to take care of their mother, look after their relatives....and when they come to India 🇮🇳 in December they want me to entertain them, since they came from UUUUUSSSSs....And I have to listen to them everyday saying that aunty is jealous of me because I live in AMERICA 🇺🇸....ahe is jealous of me because their daughter lives here i India 🇮🇳....what kind of cheap mentality is this......I wish they never come back
Unfortunately you got married in a toxic family. Looks like you are dependent on your husband income. Housewife is an economic slave of the husband. First start earning. No matters how much. But start.

Indians started migrating to USA in mid 80s, gun culture is there for 100s of years. I dont think PIOs are worried about gun culture. may be they are getting used to it. BTW, just day before yesterday one Hyderabad woman got killed in a gun shooting in Texas. PIOs may console themselves by saying such deaths (may not be by guns) happen in India too.
She worked in India for almost 5 years, obviously was paying her fair share of taxes towards country’s development. What more do you expect of her? To go out on roads and start routing traffic herself? Stop turning a blind eye on our country’s problems.

Just to be clear. India has population of 150 cr. Please don't dream that it will become cleaner and better than developed countries. I love my country, but we have to be practical. In reality i find india better than us in all terms as a doctor U can live in cities like ahmedabad and surat these are very good and safe cities Even if u earn 10lpm inr but standard of living , expensive transportation, bad conditions of hospital and expensive treatments , expensive rates of medicine is very very challenging In us if u travel 400kms by train it costs u around 15k for a single person so whats the use of that high income only the thing which is best in us is nobody there is above the law otherwise poverty and homeless people are there in us as well and in india things have changed in past 10yrs during holidays we go on rides , eat at mall , watch a movie , play badminton with friends everything If u want to settle in abroad choose countries like uae with whom indias releation is good
We are happy here as I am in my country. Money, comfort is not the highest. I agree there are all the facilities, but you don't have to be selfish for the facilities. It is more profitable and excellent to give than to take advantage. I wish you long life.
The problem is we simply take us salary and multiply by 85. Many don't even know the concept of ppp. A salary of 150k usd is around 35 lacs in india. So if you are making 35 lacs in india think 100 times before going to usa.
You seem to be having Satya Nadells, Sundar Pichais, Indra Nuis in mind while quoting salaries... Average Indian Techie starts with 60-70k per year, maybe a little more in SF or NYC.
Thank you for sharing opinions 🙂. Now with so much improvements in india, digital india to NEP ,people are more alert for cleanliness. .I am.sure slowly people will realise that its better to be in 🇮🇳 india
Returning is difficult because apart money, the quality of life and safety added values, forced people not to return. But in the past few years, the threats are surfacing to NRIs, PIOs. Not just US, but UK, Canada, Australia too, vandalising temple, running Indian politics on the Western land are causing serious trouble. The worst part of this is, the respected Govts seems to supporting such anti Indian forces in thier land by simply ignoring Vandalizing temples, Indian embassies, consulates. Are they using Khalistan to threaten India? The country with freedom of speech title, I observed the NRIs, PIOs are not even sharing these kinda vandalizing at the temples and India's institutions in the West via whatsapp, Instagram etc. The fear of surveillance, I guess that stops them from talking, sharing with their friends and relatives in not only India but within US and other western countries too.
School education toh india me bhi free hai RTE act ke according but government schools me quality education ki bahut kami hai even private schools bhi business ke liye chal rhe hai Hope it will be better in future
Vai govt school is really good till now. But the issue is they teach in state language so middle class families send their kids to private schools to study in English.
Toh English me pdhane ki kya zaroorat khud ki language me bhi padhai ho sakti child psychology ke according primary education toh mother tongue me hi honi chahiye aur higher education ke liye government ki english (Mahatma Gandhi school) aur hindi medium dono schools hai
Good and easy to understand. In India every kind of job is difficult to do, I mean with so much regulation things are difficult. Corruption is common in India. Also quite a large part of income gets spent on day to day living. Also, quality of life is much higher.
Thanks snigdha! Apni mother apni hi hoti hai, dusre ki respectable ho sakti hai, apni nahin. Its better to face challenges and solve our issues that's how we grow. India is progressing fast and US will most likely treat you like a second grade brown citizen after their own white men. This is my personal opinion not intended to offend anyone. You people are our cultural ambassadors, by your deep saskaras and values you always create harmonious relations and also contribute to growth of nations like US! God bless you! ❤

One important point missed is the support system in India that is missing in USA. Specifically, you can hire house help in India, that is not possible in USA. This specially hurt young mothers as they have no one to turn to.

FIRE (Financial Independence to Retire Early) strategy of saving 50 lakh to 1 crore rupees in 5-10yr by working abroad to create assets in India which generate regular income to help u retire early and live peaceful life with ur parents n children is far better healthy n sustainable approach instead of keep struggling in stressful worklife to maintain expenses lifestyle by keep paying EMI whole life.

Same here . I spend more time in Los Angeles @ Hollywood then India now . I love India , culture ,tradition etc but not mentality & lot of jealousy among people . Too much hardship . US is a country of opportunities ,i mean. Weather is good in LA. Air is good and all are so clean .
Americans are facing jealousy as Indians are becoming richer. Now everything you find is an issue in India going to the USA like caste resolution, Sawastika ban etc etc. The probability of getting killed by a minor boy in the USA is higher than in Afghanistan.

Yes, I agreed with your thoughts. In India you do govt job 20-25,yrs service and you are not able to purchase car and own house. Just only it's your dream in India.
I feel the one thing that separates developed countries from developing ones is the near perfect implementation of law and order for every citizen, whatever may be his status in the society. This also curbs corruption to a great extent in day today life of common man and gives him security.

9 to 5 is a choice. If someone looking for career, immigrant status doesn't matter. Everyone have to work for it (outside normal working hours). Main reason I think people don't go back is: Security & Governance (clear process & common man doesn't see bribery).

Very good. Boht acha laaga! Hit all the important points.. For an older person, India has changed so much. It is no longer India of 1970s, 80s. No longer a sleepy village. So it's not like going home.
Every year, family and friends travel every year, india they show video that nothing is changed at the macro level
Interesting video. And, some good observations around family, career, lifestyle etc. Everyone has a different journey and objective. It's definitely not an easy decision or choice. What makes it complicated, is uncertainty at times and your resistance to struggle.
Pros of living in metro cities India:
Hire maids for all chores ...persue hobbies
Order groceries online will be delivered in 15 mins
Ofcourse livjng with your parents and reletives
Nowadays in IT for ppl in Blore the salary is close to 1Cr
Then you don't have to think before buying house, car ,iPhone, private schools,etc..
Also in India many companies follow the timeliness..dont usually work more than 8 hours
Cons:
Bad infrastructure
Pros of USA
Good infrastructure
Cons of USA:
Do all the chores on your own
Spend time to go to buy groceries
After day care yiu have to take care of kids on your own
Public schools in USA are not as good as top schools in India 😊

You tubers have done big and great responsibility to defame India .. good luck and keep going
What she is saying is true. India has traffic problem and work culture problem.
Nice sour grapes

In reality i find india better than us in all terms as a doctor
U can live in cities like ahmedabad and surat these are very good and safe cities
Even if u earn 10lpm inr but standard of living , expensive transportation, bad conditions of hospital and expensive treatments , expensive rates of medicine is very very challenging
In us if u travel 400kms by train it costs u around 15k for a single person so whats the use of that high income only the thing which is best in us is nobody there is above the law otherwise poverty and homeless people are there in us as well and in india things have changed in past 10yrs during holidays we go on rides , eat at mall , watch a movie , play badminton with friends everything
If u want to settle in abroad choose countries like uae with whom indias releation is good
We are happy here as I am in my country.

America also has dirty roads but as Indians go America is highly educated and they are living in a well organised cleaned area of the USA.

Good and easy to understand. In India every kind of job is difficult to do, I mean with so much regulation things are difficult. Corruption is common in India. Also quite a large part of income gets spent on day to day living. Also, quality of life is much higher.
