    Everything that is said about Halifax is true... except it's becoming harder and harder to find decent housing at a reasonable cost.😢 Also, the population is increasing rapidly, and Halifax is not ready yet for all those people.

    Congratulations Ate! Question ko po. What if seasonal po ang work ko ngaun, pero I wash full time before.

      It depends on the visa officer, as long as you can prove that you can support your parents’ stay in Canada, then I think it won’t have any issue. A stable income is a huge plus in order to have an approved visa application. I didn’t submit any airfare ticket, it wasn’t a requirement. Good luck with your plans.

    So if my husband takes paternity leave (assuming that's the same as parental leave??) then that's deducted from the 18 months I have planned to take off as the mom? This stuff is so confusing haha

    • @TineInCanada
      @TineInCanada 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Correct, it will be deducted from your parental leave. My husband took 5 weeks so it was deducted from mine.

    Thank you for making a great video. My situation is very similar to yours. I wanted to ask few questions. While answering the questions in visa eligibility, what had you selected for your parents that they are financially dependent on someone (yes or no) In Imm5257e, in details of visit to Canada section, funds available for my stay in Canada should be funds from parents or me. I am confused about presenting the case in this situation

    • @TineInCanada
      @TineInCanada 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you. I can’t exactly remember all the details but I think I mentioned funds from me as my parents have only a small amount of money on their bank account. I covered their lodging and finances here in Canada.

      4 weeks lang si husband since it won’t be realistic kung mag-leave siya ng matagal. Usually it’s the mom who takes the 52 weeks of parental leave.

    Hi! It's a very useful video! Just to verify with your budget of groceries (for homecooked meals, toiletries, etc) which is 700CAD, so addiional 200CAD for the occasional dining out? So that's 900CAD to cover food and groceries?

    • @TineInCanada
      @TineInCanada ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Yes, that’s only for groceries. Dining out is excluded. But please keep in mind that time has changed and the inflation in Canada got worst. This time, our food cost or grocery jumped to almost $1000 monthly. Budgeting is very challenging nowadays.
