I'm no cardiologist, but I really appreciate pilots taking care of their health.
Not every one thought I saw 140 KG captains. 😂
Not all pilots take care of themselves,as matter of fact most of them are out shape
I think they have to cause they do medial check ups every 6 months or every 1 year if they are over the age of 40 so they need to be in shape and in a good health or they may risk their career

@@creativecolourful4664there was this one captain who was so chunky when they tried to take off the plane banked to the left right after takeoff. They overloaded and this guy’s weight didn’t help. It was a small plane btw

I’ve always wanted to be a pilot but it was kinda unknown territory for me… actually as a kid I wanted to be a astronaut idk how I became a health scientist instead but I want to fly so I think I’m going to make the step! Thanks for giving me a little inside of what it’s like! I appreciate you ❤

This is so helpful. I’m starting training at a regional airline in a week and I’ll be on the e175. I finished Indoc in Jan. Hoping to be LAX based. Thx for sharing all this. It’s like I’m getting a taste of what my life’s going to be like ❤❤ I’m a gym rat so I love seeing that you’re one too and you’re able to stay healthy as a pilot

well first officers mostly are under 24 when they START
@@mohammedrezanavasei9262guarantee you that most FO’s are in fact NOT under 24 😂. Average age is probably closer to 35-40 for FO’s

Being a brand new Airline pilot you are always on call as reserve and putting in your Bid is required if you want to get back home or running through the terminal to catch your flight

The term "jumbo jet" typically refers to large wide-body aircraft, such as the Boeing 747 or the Airbus A380, which are designed to carry hundreds of passengers on long-haul flights. In contrast, the Embraer 175 is a regional jet designed for shorter flights, typically carrying between 70 and 90 passengers.
The Embraer 175 has a wingspan of approximately 28 meters (92 feet) and a length of around 31 meters (102 feet). Its maximum takeoff weight is around 41,000 kilograms (90,000 pounds). While these are significant dimensions, they are much smaller than those of a typical jumbo jet, which can have a wingspan of over 60 meters (200 feet) and a length of more than 70 meters (230 feet).
In summary, the Embraer 175 is a regional jet designed for shorter flights, and it is not considered a jumbo jet due to its smaller size and capacity.

I love the way you prepare your meals and you hit the gym everyday, life work balance is very important to stay in good shape. Being pilot it’s not easy job there’s enormous stress that regular people 9-17 shift can’t understand. It’s fun job to have but you need to handle it very well. You look lovely by the way 🫶

Lool, I'd definitely imagine it would be due to the turbulence. However, they are trained to fly in bad weather.

2. Can I become pilot with aerospace engineering degree from MIT university?
3. At what age does everyone usually start their career in this field?

I'm not Sara but I can answer these questions
1. Yes of course they can 100%
2. Aero Engineering degree is not needed, but very useful for pilots
3. In Europe i believe the age to obtain an ATPL is 21 years old, in US it is 23 years old.

My sister graduated in 90’ from USC , my father was a PIC with United for 31 years out of SFO , and have two friends who are PIC with AAL out of MIA and my best friend with Alaska as PIC out of Portland . It’s a great career . Good luck.

how long is a pilot job
Is there a requirement for an airline pilot to start out doing short flights for so many hours before they'll put you on longer flights? Or does it have to do with qualified aircraft?

So nice to watch all the different things you go through. A suggestion, if I might. Obviously your voice overs are just great the way they are, but when you’re shooting just nature or planes flying over, or nice artistic shots of cities, if you could do a quick switch over to high-def 4K(2160) I think that would be fantastic.

Hi Saira I am Aditi from India and i am an average student in school ....but the thing is my family is judging my marks with my dream job and i am in mid school. I am trying to improve my grades but their taunts make me cry and i am not like other teenagers I always cry their taunts make me feel like I'll never be able to achieve my goals what can I do about it please help🙏🏻
Just study, its not about the marks. Just give it your best. You'd anyway have to complete your school and then crack your dgca exams as well. Doesn't matter what your parents say.

I love how you put the regulation up for when you can descend below mins and what visual references. I’ve been doing a lot of self study for CFII and that’s a regulation I’ve said outloud a lot. 😂😂

What do pilots do while in the air during long flights?
So cool to see "behind the scenes"...are you assigned to a specific plane or do you fly whichever aircraft happens to be on the trip you are piloting?
from what i know you get assigned to 1 or a few aircraft that are similar

Hey Sara love your videos I am an aviation geek I am not an airline pilot but I do have my ppl and multi engine/ifr rating and fly cargo around upstate western New York and Pennsylvania for Wiggins air in a Cessna caravan. My question for you is not one that us pilots like to talk about but what is one of your most memorable scary moments flying with equipment or electrical/ and or weather issues that made the flight a bit scary and challenging?
