    I like the unconventional nature of these exercises. They're not gimmicks like other channels only a subtle variation on what works.

    Great video...nice job mixing old school, ie: Chest supported, rope climbs trap bar raise with some newer exercises. Great explanation of slow twitch requiring higher reps.

    Could you make a video of a full athlete day/Plyometrics day workout for chaos co-ordination,explosiveness and agility?
    For soccer or football players cuz both are somewhat similar in terms of change of directions and stuff like that,it would help many of us since planning a Plyometric day is hard 😅

    Have you ever done front raises with multi grip bar!? Done in a controlled manner with hold at 15-20 reps hit the trap,rumboids pretty well. Also ,reaching back to old school, front raises with a kettle bell work.

    My coach always called those trap raises on the trap bar "Able Shrugs", I don't know who Able is but my biceps and upper back blow up massively from this movement.

    Super useful variations. Appreciate the content! I’ve got t-Rex legs with a short af torso, so this back work as prehab is 100% the ticket to not being screwed out of training. Worst proportions for weightlifting - even BW snatches beat the f out of me - but it’s too fun to quit 😂

    I was just recently think about which area I would choose if I could only train one area at the gym and the rest merely at home - back, chest, arms, shoulders, legs.
    It's pretty closed between legs and back.

    My kind of stuff. I subd like a few months back and knew back then that , seriously I need to watch your stuff. However Im raising 3 girls and well me and my wife, but its a busy life. So I forgot about your channel. Nevertheless all these months later and YT finally decides to recommend one of your vids to me!?! I dont know how their algorithm is formulated but it really must not be that strong. I dont often sub to a channel right after watching 1 video like maybe once or twice a year. Most of the time ill have to watch the channel for a good bit before I sub. Anyway I turnt the notification on now, anyway great content, you where made for this stuff. Cant wait till the next one.

    Wondering why the super high rep range for the erectors? Is 20 to 25 reps not enough to target the slow twitch fibres?

    • @shawnmann9491
      @shawnmann9491 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are like the calves….very dense and resilient from their constant (and unseen ) workload. But they are a large group that fans up into the mid and low back/hams. They can take a lot of reps and move tons of blood and nutrients when they get worked hard.
      Bill Starr often preached working up into a set of of 100 as a warmup ( or 3-4 sets of 25/30) to each session, and doing high reps post workout and prehab/rehab. If you are young and healthy the erectors can take a lot of abuse ! If you pull one, you’ll be in a world of hurt. Like the universal joint on a car, the erectors transmit power in our bodies, until you ding one up then you can’t move !

    Okay, respectfully, that annoying loud bleep over the f bomb is childish and stupid. If someone’s so offended by the word “fuck” they can get their knowledge elsewhere. Or, if you’re unwilling to lose those so easily offended, just say strong as heck or whatever.
    Anything that distracts from the real material of your video is the enemy.
