Perimenopause anxiety was the worst, waking up in a panic thinking about death. Losing my mother during this time just made things so much worse. The sadness was unbearable. Doing much better but taking it day by day. Thanks for your videos. I also take collagen peptides from vital proteins, seems to be helping me lose weight.
I am so glad you are talking about this and I've learned so much from you. Women don't talk enough or at all about this but I am since I subscribed to your channel and spreading the word with family & friends. I had no idea that there are so many symptoms when one is going through perimenopause and menopause. I've been dealing with it the past several years and not understanding what was happening to my body but with your help, I feel better prepared. I am very good with having annual check ups. What is so disappointing is not once has my primary doctor or gynecologist ever asked "how are you doing with your menopause symptoms?" I never thought to discuss with my doctors regarding the menopause stages and symptoms. Thank you again for sharing your experience and knowledge!
The anxiety is cruel ,comes In waves out of nowhere .could be okay and all of a sudden an overwhelming fear and anxiety comes over you .Even simple things like someone calling to the house or delivering something makes you all edgy and nervous
I get it! It makes me feel really bad when such trivial things can set the anxiety off. It feels as though I’m unable to handle things. I’m 55 and I would assume I’m post menopausal by now( had a hysterectomy) it scares me that it’s still going on, not too mention I take estradiol which helps with hot flashes, dryness but doesn’t seem to help the mental or the body pain at all.
Thank you Kari. It’s been very hard for me. Two years to understand I was in perimenopause. Anxiety, fear, digestive issues bad ones too. Pain everywhere. Days my digestion is ok other days I’m suffering. Many blessings. ❤
I am a Christian missionary in Honduras and no one had ever warned me about what menopause would be like or what terrifying symptoms I would face. I can’t imagine going through this without the internet. I can’t imagine what women experienced fifty years ago, not knowing what this was. Which makes me wonder if they, too, experienced scary symptoms? This has been the most trying, scary, difficult experience of my life. I wish someone would have prepared me. I had a psychotic-type event due to extreme anxiety and deep depression nine months ago. I thought I was going through PTSD because of the pandemic, but found out it was mostly menopause. I can’t do HRT, so I have to rely on natural remedies. Thanks for listening. 👍🏼
what's helping me at the min - l theanine, evening primrose oil, magnesium glycinate, maca powder, myprotein collagen powder, sage leaf, turmeric tablet, and a multi vitamin tablet, 2 brazil nuts every day, kalms sometimes, peppermint oil for digestive issues, pumpkin seeds, plenty oats, bananas, and apple cider vinegar for any acid or indigestion. I also made some herbal teas, with red clover every now and again, hibiscus tea and peppermint, lemon balm, dandelion, tulsi leaf, and ginsing, i would just mix them up in a huge caffier or herbal tea pot lol. but yeah whatever help people, we all different. but thank you, you are such an inspiration.
Thank you thank you for your videos ❤ I had partial hysterectomy in my early 30s and now 58 but wow lately I feel horrible in the whole. Your videos have hit some points that I will discuss with my doctor. ❤ Thank you.
Thanks so much for the video 👍🏽 Here’s what helps my insomnia- Magnesium Glycinate For anxiety- Magnesium Glycinate For horrible gut pain - turmeric + cayenne pepper on top of at least one meal daily Constipation - magnesium citrate & homemade ginger water Also using castor oil as an after shower moisturizer (this also helps with dry skin) Acid reflux - a good probiotic + drinking enough water at the proper time (not with meals, 1 1/2 hrs after eating and empty stomach only) For hair loss - help, I’ll take all the advice on this one (lost the majority of my hair in only 5 wks 😢)
Today I experienced for the first time is burning feeling between my big toe and middle toe. I'm not diabetic and have heard perimenopause causes burning foot. Haha great so far I have all the possible symptoms
Thank you for all your videos! Just a couple thoughts... Soy makes you feel better because it can mimic estrogen in the body, so anyone with a history of hormone positive breast cancer should not be eating a lot of soy, or so I've been told. Also, there is a Doc on the Internet who specializes in menopause. She says eating protein and healthy carbs before bed helps prevent cortisol spikes in the middle of the night. Eating a snack before bed definitely helps me sleep better and I haven't noticed weight gain from it.
@@corabeardog New research shows that the bad press about soy was inaccurate and soy is protective. Old studies were done on mice who don’t process soy at all in the same way humans do. If you look it up you can find the new research of course I’m not a doctor so listen to your doctor.
Thank you Kari..I'm really struggling with sleep and therefore makes me feel terrible and anxiety gets worse. Do you or anyone have suggestions to help re supplements? I've tried herbal teas..they help me get to sleep but I'm waking 3 hours or so before getting up..just exhausting!!I'm not a candidate for HRT and I don't want it anyway.
I used to feel great, then I went to feel like "garbage". I really want a good quality collagen. Kari can you recommend a brand. So many companies are out to make a buck. I don't mind paying if it's good QUALITY. thank you for putting us ar ease.
