Weird and strange how everything you share, seems to happen to me as well. The weird stabs like a knife stabbing my right foot the other night went right into my bedtime! Itchy skin drives me nuts! And yes the teeth can be annoying for sure…and I’m sure whatever else you share Kari, I’m sure I’ve experienced it! Hi Kari!! I can’t thank you enough for these videos so many of these symptoms I have or have gone through and thought I was going crazy and then I see ur videos and think thank goodness I’m not the only one!! You’re the best
I checked everything you touched on😂. You have to laugh, I tell my daughters (42, 38 & 37) about it and for some reason, they don't find the humor in it. Thank you Kari 😊
I first heard about collagen for itchy skin from your channel. I scratched till I bled for 4 years!!!! Then saw your advice and it worked!!!! No more itchy skin for me! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you Kari ! I spend most days feeling like I am losing my mind. I think how can one person feel like they have so much wrong but all tests and scans show I am ok?!? I long for the day that I feel good again. I can’t help but to be sad. I am thankful yet sad.
Clumsiness is such an issue for me because I also have RA. I'm always knocking things over or dropping them and breaking them, and it's always the things I love!
Thank you, Kari, especially for the part about the little red bumps. I, too, was certain that I had bed bugs or something, but I never find any, and just as easily as the bumps come, they suddenly go away.
I experienced the tooth pain.i felt it's going to fell.hot flashes, frozen shoulder, stiff neck.for now it's gone.all the symptoms of menopause your saying is true.
Thank you! Great video! I have about half the symptoms on this list. The most worrisome for me is dry eyes! I hate the discomfort, but I also hate that it impacts my vision. I wear glasses to read all the time now.
I love your silent acting! So funny! I'm experiencing many of these symptoms myself, including a frozen right shoulder. It's nice to know that all these weird sensations might have a common source - MENOPAUSE! I see my doctor and get testing done but I've never heard menopause mentioned. He usually mentions "getting older" but not menopause specifically.
Thank you for going over all these...I'm 68, had my uterus out at 27 for bleeding that nearly killed me. So I had a mini menopause back then, when I got into my early 40s, real post menopause started....I still have many of the symptoms you mention. I sometimes think I must have some disease, but the doctor can't find anything and says don't worry about it. Knowing that these things can be common will make them easier to take. Thank you again!
I’ve got a weird one- my ears keep draining! It’s like I get so hot during hot flashes I’m melting my brain, and it’s coming out of my ears! I’ve got all your symptoms too..what a curse!
I've got severe dry eyes. I use a warm compress ( a clean sock filled with rice) every night for 15 min. It helps to open up those glands and it's made a huge difference for me. Thank you for all your wonderful videos!❤
So glad I found your channel. Menopause has taken me from an Uber healthy athletic person, to someone I do not recognize. So many symptoms hit me out of no where. Making me miserable and defeated. Slowly, I am coming to terms with how to either adapt or overcome these changes . Recognizing that this is all menopause and now post menopause helps.
Lmao Kari I love your videos! I feel sooo clumsy sometimes and I love that you add a funny spin to it. We have to be able to laugh at ourselves sometimes. Thank you! This video made my night!!
I’m a little disappointed that arthritis didn’t make the list. Along with having hot flashes and yanking the blankets off, the fan and air conditioning causes all my joints to hurt. Lower back pain and bursitis.
@@libertykim6438 Much of the time joint pain in menopause is caused by a loss of collagen as is tendonitis and frozen shoulder and arthritis is not necessarily present although menopausal women are at an increased risk for osteoarthritis.
Ear sensitivity was a huge issue for me! I couldn’t stand being near fans or anything that buzzed continuously. It would cause a migraine and severe nausea. My dry eyes were so bad I saw an eye doctor who treated dry eye . I am also on a regiment of prescription eye drops , eye ointment to put in my eyes at night and using moist heat three times a week which has helped .
Thank you Kari! I have experience so far most of these symptoms mentioned. I feel like there’s always a new one every day. Makes me sad. Sometimes I feel like burning tingling in the legs or face. OMG the restless legs drives me insane, especially at night 🤪. The dry eyes and mouth, the random mystery bruises, insomnia and itchiness are also really annoying
I use andalou naturals rose overnight lip mask )in the day too) and Farmacy honey lip butter stick. They’re still pretty dry but I used to use Burt’s bees peppermint lip balm & found it dried my mouth out more. 🫂
Developing Gluteal tendinopathy in my right hip has been a huge issue since starting perimenopause five years ago. I have these sharp, shooting pains down the front of my leg and it is so painful! Both of my shoulders are experiencing rotator cuff issues, too. I never struggled with that before!
The frozen shoulder was my first big one also. Never had any problems with tendons or muscles until this happened. I really didn't understand what was happening to me. I hope it's over in a timely manner.
@@Carmastrong855 I didn’t know what was happening either. I thought I injured myself and tore something but couldn’t figure out how. I still have problems with that shoulder. I never fully healed.
Since starting peri menopause symptoms I have become allergic to cherries (I have loved cherries my entire life), dairy, pork and cats. Having a slice of cherry cheesecake feels like food is trying to kill me :P
Menopause is the pits. I've told many people that i'd rather go through puberty 100 times than go through menopause. The only upside of menopause is that we dont get our periods anymore. Hallelujah!

Collagen powder may do the trick? And/or collagen from a natural source (really 'clean up' the bone of a porkchop, a chicken leg (also eat the cartilage), the membrane (is that what you call it) around your boiled egg)?
Kari, I read recently that creatine can be good for menopausal women. Some say it may cause weight gain others say it doesn't. Any insight? Thank you! ❤
I ended up getting a allergy towards taco shells and I'm 42 years old. Almost. My doctor told me that it was menopause related because now I'm having unregular periods and he said it's close to menopause. My hormones levels are deteriorating in blood work they noticed.
I never had a hot flash, don’t even know what one is like. I had no idea I was in menopause. One day everything just stopped. No warning. It was very depressing. If I had a warning then at least I wouldn’t have felt like I went from 45 to 90 suddenly. I do get balance problems, visual disturbances, muscle aches and pains, tinnitus and hearing loss and the itching too. For the visual disturbances, I have been through one year of testing having every test you can imagine and nothing has showed up. And my left eye keeps greying out for a few seconds, several times a week. I’ve been to neurologists, neuro ophthalmologists, retina specialists, cardiologists, I’ve had MRIs, MRAs, CAT angiograms, MRIs of my eye orbits, the dye test for the retinas, blood work, and all are normal. They told me there’s nothing they can do for me because nothing shows up on their tests. I think they think I’m nuts.

💭💭 what about “hormones” flaring up the heart ♥️ 💭💭 I already have a heart ♥️ condition then just add “perimenopause/hormones to the MIX it’s a complete living nightmare situation💧
Every once in awhile, I will be on a cycle every few seconds throughout the day. Is this normal? I did a stool test to see if I had cancer, but test came out negative.
See your gyn, but I'm at the point where I get a little spotting every couple of weeks. Some women will get one for a month straight before things finally stop. If the doctor can't find a clinical cause, it's perimenopause.
I noticed that I said 15 symptoms in the intro but there are only 14. Oops! Me and my menopause brain!🤦♀️

My dry eyes were so bad I saw an eye doctor who treated dry eye . I am also on a regiment of prescription eye drops , eye ointment to put in my eyes at night and using moist heat three times a week which has helped .
I had all symptoms Ms. Kari😢
😢
Thank you Kari! I have experience so far most of these symptoms mentioned. I feel like there’s always a new one every day. Makes me sad. Sometimes I feel like burning tingling in the legs or face. It happens fast then back to normal. I am in the perimenopause phase right now and it is awful. 😢 Bless you always for everything you do to help us get through this huge transition. ❤
Does your burning feel like this ?
You know when you’re about to finish a set of arm exercises and when you’re on the 3rd rep your muscle burns ? Does your burning feel like that except you can feel it when at rest or doing nothing ? Also do you have it in your arms? Or any followed by achey hands and feet like joint paint .
@@AlbrittonTribe not really, I can be lying down or sitting down than I just get a weird tingling sensation. It happens fast. I do t feel it all the time I usually feel it when I’m in my menstrual cycle or about to start the cycle.
Dealing with this pain in my left shoulder. Especially if I'm washing dishes.

I just had to go to the dermatologist last Thursday ,she prescribed steroid cream.

I'm 10 years post-menopause and experience most of these!

OMG the restless legs drives me insane, especially at night 🤪. The dry eyes and mouth, the random mystery bruises, insomnia and itchiness are also really annoying

Try Shea butter ❤
I use andalou naturals rose overnight lip mask )in the day too) and
Farmacy honey lip butter stick. They’re still pretty dry but I used to use Burt’s bees peppermint lip balm & found it dried my mouth out more. 🫂
I feel like Burts Bees lio balm makes my lips worse. I either use homemade or EOS brand and my lips are much better.
I use baby Aquaphor
Developing Gluteal tendinopathy in my right hip has been a huge issue since starting perimenopause five years ago. I have these sharp, shooting pains down the front of my leg and it is so painful! Both of my shoulders are experiencing rotator cuff issues, too. I never struggled with that before!
I have frequent groin pain and I often wonder about gluteal tendinopathy.
I have the same shooting very painful pain in my legs, and also a burning sensation in my legs. Also, burning feet, it's just awful.
@@KariAnneWright It took me a good 2 years to get back to normal. I can always relate so well to your experiences. Keep up the good information.
OMG I'm so glad I found your video I have the majority of these symptoms.
Is High Blood pressure one of them and food intolerance??
@@camelia697 Yes to both.
Since starting peri menopause symptoms I have become allergic to cherries (I have loved cherries my entire life), dairy, pork and cats. Having a slice of cherry cheesecake feels like food is trying to kill me :P

@shannonbrice8012 it doesn't go way EVER...
Menopause is the pits. I've told many people that i'd rather go through puberty 100 times than go through menopause. The only upside of menopause is that we dont get our periods anymore. Hallelujah!
At least with puberty you get estrogen. Losing estrogen is brutal!

I've had a bad reaction to liquid collagen. is there any substitute?
Collagen powder may do the trick? And/or collagen from a natural source (really 'clean up' the bone of a porkchop, a chicken leg (also eat the cartilage), the membrane (is that what you call it) around your boiled egg)?
You could try bone broth.
oh god, i had the dizzyness and tennis elbow!

Hi Kari hope you are doing well ♥️🌹 what causes neausa heart palpitations l think I am dyeing 😭 thank you for this video ♥️🌹
Palpitations need to be checked out but they are common in perimenopause.
Kari, I read recently that creatine can be good for menopausal women. Some say it may cause weight gain others say it doesn't. Any insight? Thank you! ❤
I don’t know much about it but it’s suppose to be good for bones, muscle and moods.

I ended up getting a allergy towards taco shells and I'm 42 years old. Almost. My doctor told me that it was menopause related because now I'm having unregular periods and he said it's close to menopause. My hormones levels are deteriorating in blood work they noticed.
😢

I’m not sure I understand the question but cycle changes are a part of perimenopause.
