Such a powerful tune! I love the fact that Ed Roland didn’t give up. He was practically 30 before they ever got noticed. Thank you for your drive and amazing music CS!!
These guys are the reason I wanted to write positive music for the world. My son was just born, I was 23 and this song moved me so much, I walked back to that Kmart I heard it in down the street from me in Hooksett, New Hampshire and bought the tape. This song was a lifesaver for me.
For those of us that were around when this masterpiece first came out decades ago, Ed's voice has weathered to absolute vintage. He's got a metallic edge to his voice now that is so damn interesting, especially in a sea of AutoTuned crap. Love Collective Soul forever.
Nostalgic... Today i am more depressed.. Not after hearing this... I merely will write my own song as we all will in this life.... And ill sing it.... Kevo .. three rivers boys... Free music on youtube.. good vibes

Born in 89 here. This is still definitely a tear jerker for me. Brings me back to my youth. Such a beautiful song.
One of the best song ever. World wouldn't be the same without it.
