I'm watching this again because it's so fascinating. I'd like to make it with a lot greens and blues somehow for an anniversary gift for my son and daughter-in-law.
This is my very first time sewing log cabin hearts. Thank you for doing this tutorial. I was lost on how to do it and was afraid to start. Now I can start.
What a beautiful project, I just loved it when you added the backing fabric, it showed the heart so clearly, I'd love to try this for special people in my life. Thankyou for sharing your inspirational talent 😊 💖
What a lovely afternoons sewing ! I've enjoyed making my Log Cabin Heart so much !! your instructions were clear and easy to follow, thank you so much for the demo and PDF ( I did need a couple of 6 1/2 pieces )
@JustJudeDesigns~ THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tutorial and the PDF instructions to go along with it. I truly appreciate both!! My beloved cousin Tammy passed away unexpectedly in May. I've been trying to find just the right quilt pattern to create a special memory quilt for my Auntie.... Your tutorial has inspired me! I'm going to make an entire quilt based on your scrappy log cabin heart block. Thank you Jude! XOXO ~Christy~
Hi Christy, I'm so so sorry to hear of your loss. Your heart must be broken, but what a lovely way to remember Tammy and bless your Aunt with a heart quilt! I pray in the making of it your heart will also be soothed. God bless, Jude xo
Thank you for this lovely video and free pattern. Very inspiring. I love that you gave directions to add the triangle "sides" to make the hearts face up too!
Hi Corinne, sorry for the late reply. I'm in the middle of refurbishing and moving house so I'm not able to check the measurements just at the moment. I haven't had anyone else raise this but I will double check again when I get access to my files. Judith xo
I didn't get past that annoying as hell, loud, high pitched whistle at the beginning. The fact that someone would thoughtlessly put that there just pissed me off so badly that I just tuned right out. 😠
Apologies if you found our wee bird at the start too loud, we will adjust that for future tutorials. A lot of thought, time and work goes into our FREE presentations and all constructive feedback is valued. Thank you for taking the time to express your opinion. Jxo
@@justjudedesigns9560 I loved the sweet little bird whistle. I thought it was perfect. I love to watch the birds outside my window--I am homebound, and they are a beautiful and colorful and lively part of my life now. I like to hear them 'talk' to one another!. I very much appreciate this tutorial. I received a card today for Mother's Day from my little granddaughter (and another one to join us in October), and it had a picture of a pieced heart log cabin block on it. I quickly determined that while it was pretty, the artist had obviousy never sewn a log cabin heart block! So I searched and quickly found your tutorial. It will be among the first things I try when we can get my sewing machine set up for me again. Thank you so much--you have earned a new subscriber!
@@gimmedatstick Thank you for your lovely comments. It's wonderful to be reminded to enjoy the little things in life, those special moments that are all around us, if only we take the time and attention to notice them. Thank you for reminding me of these! I hope you enjoy the heart block when you get to sew it. Take care, Jxo
If you’re that irritated with a simple sound, I think it’s best you unsubscribe from all social media. With all that is going on in this world, would it be so hard to overlook something YOU don’t agree with and instead focus on the talent this lady is sharing! Honestly, your thoughtless comment makes you come across as a negative Nellie that nobody wants or needs to hear from.

I’m doing this adorable pattern now. Is it possible there’s an error in the written pattern. I think pieces 11 and 12 should be 6 1/2” long?

Had the same problem
Is there a pattern for your lovely drawstring bag?
Hi Peggy, not for this exact one, but I have a similar one coming soon. Jxo
