I love how easy you made these heart blocks, great way to use left over scraps. Red is also my favorite color, but I have to say, out the 3 blocks the pink 4 patch one is my favorite. Thank You for Sharing your Time, and Your Talent with all of us.
Thank you for this enjoyable video! I'm working on three different Valentine's quilts right now and looking for pieced hearts to add interest to the backings! Wouldn't several of these look adorable in a vertical row close to one side of the quilt or in a square of four pointing to the center of the square??!!!
Love your video and was also attracted to the cutting board combination you used....did you make it yourself or where was it purchased. Thanks for all you do
Cathy, That one in the video was a gift to me. My husband helped me to make some more. They are a bit different but here is the link on how I made them if you are interested: th-cam.com/video/AiXzsv2Q2aI/w-d-xo.html
I've been looking for a long time 4 easy hearts to make and I ran across to you thank you thank you thank you I need them for table runners and lap quilts I loved how simple you explained each heart
Sonja, I actually have two heart videos showing a total of six different hearts. You might want to check out the other video also. It might give you a larger variety of hearts to use in your quilts! I’m so glad you find my video useful!
I followed your instructions on cutting the fabric for the 4 section heart. Something went wrong, for the bottom half is wider than the top half. What did I do wrong??
I am trying to decide what to do will all the blocks and I will definitely share when I get that project completed! The blocks are all on my design wall and they are fun to look at up there!
Was just curious about the size of square you're working with on the patchwork heart. The top pieces in particular I wasn't sure if they're 6.5 inch to start with the snowballing. The bottom stars as 6.5 and cuts down, was just making sure of the top measurement. thank you for such a well done video
What a fun project! I love hearts and will definitely make these. I see that you have a small design board. Did you make it? I made a few of that size and recently started making some for a friend and a couple larger ones for myself. They are so useful. Thanks again for sharing more inspiration with us!
Yes I made several design boards and I love them! I really like the 14” or larger the best! They really help to keep my room more organized and help control the mess!! You can stack several projects in a nice orderly fashion!
Cindy, I am so glad you enjoyed this video! I do not have written instructions for this these blocks. I tried to film it so you would be able to reproduce it. If you have any questions, please let me know!
These are beautiful hearts. ❤ I want to make a 12 inch block of the middle heart. Could you help me with the dimensions of this one ? I subscribed to your channel.
“Seams” easy enough to do! But I curious why you went with five and a half inch squares! That being said you can maximize the use of a charm pack or a layer cake! Anyway I will give it a go🧵🧵🧵🧵
This is the best heart block video. Easy to follow instructions. Thank you for sharing

The description of the video outlines all of the sizes of each piece used for each heart. You can check there for this information. Thank you!
I loved this tutorial do you have any for butterflies.?
Hi Tabitha! I am so glad you enjoyed this tutorial. I do not have any for butterflies.
Can you share that journal you have with the cutting board on one side and not sure what is on the other. I would love to make one!
I will have to check into this request. Mine was a gift to me.

I will see what I can do….
Still waiting to find out how to make/buy that nifty cutting board you use!
I have a video on that. Here is the link:

I want to make a 12 inch block
of the middle heart. Could you
help me with the dimensions of
this one ? I subscribed to your
channel.
You could simply add a small border to bring the block size up to 12". Would that work?
What is binder that has a cutting mat and rough mat on?
This video will show you what it is and how to make one: th-cam.com/video/AiXzsv2Q2aI/w-d-xo.html
What kinda of fabric did you use ?
100% cotton fabric

Lol! Just how I figured it, no specific reason.
