Finally an example of good EQ for the Lark M2. Thank you! I love these mics, they sound decent out of the box but definitely need some boost and I will definitely try your preset. You earned a sub!
I have the LARK M2, too, and it's so great! I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants an easy-to-carry and quick-to-use microphone for on the go! 👏👏 great and insightful video!
Absolutely loved the 10 minutes I was able to use these. The magnets on the mics completely came out. Seems as if the adhesive used on the mics isn’t that great.
Even the SM57, the most used mic in the recording industry, takes a lot of EQ before making sense in a mix. I think this sounds very good for the size. And the portability is great.
Does it record separate audio channels for the two mics? Saw somewhere that it records them together with the phone receivers but can be recorded separately for the camera receiver. Is this true? I'd like to be able to edit the audio separately.
when you transitioned to senheiser to holyland, immediately it kinda broke my ear - I almost said "eww" but after some time, my ear adopted these. Not bad sound in this price point.
Haha watching back on my phone I felt that way a bit. But yeah you settle into it easily. If it was the only mic in the video people would think it’s fine. Comparing it to an mkh-416 isn’t exactly “fair” lol
Thanks! That’s a tough one, I haven’t tried the s5ii, my sister uses them for weddings and loves them. I’m just so familiar with Sony and with their lens options that it’s what I gravitate towards. Apsc lenses are cheaper too. But the s5ii looks like an amazing camera for the money, maybe the best camera body for the dollar amount. But there’s a lot more to that decision than just the body lol
Game changer... Will the Washington Generals finally beat the Globe Trotters? Nice video. BTW: don't you think the Rode Wireless Pro is the "one to go with" versus the DJI (the DJI is no slouch).
I think as far as audio goes it’s probable “better” I found that the user experience of the Rodes is not good, harder to use, not as clear controls etc. but that’s for the wireless go 2, not the pros

This is a great starting eq. Thank you for that. You can really add character to this mic and it sounds so professional

Even MKBHD has been using it lately

What are the audio levels on your camera and the Holyland mic when you are recording this video?
In what program did you edit audio? Can you do it even if you recordid only in your phone?
Literally just ordered these, I have the original rode ones but they are starting to be temperamental when turning on and off.
How do u like them? I plan on using them for gym content, any issues?
Nice work! Thank you.
Do you suggest them to use with PC ?
I have the Rode Wireless ME, are these any better? Is it worth switching to these?
great video dude!
Hey mate! Is the audio from the lark edited at all?
Ten seconds later I just heard you say about the EQ 😅
Haha was about to say

With the camera receiver you can yeah!

Thanks for the EQ trick! Just subscribed. BTW, if you had to choose between the FX30 and the Panasonic S5II, which one would you go for?

Sounds better than my Fulaim X5
where them inside out. put the mic inside the shirt and magnet outside
