Don’t listen to the people that say you talk too much. Your videos are loaded with great information that you don’t find in many other places and that is because you do take the time to explain the details. Keep them coming please
Kelly, as a new fly fisherman and learning to tie, your videos have become a necessity in my understanding of how to tie and why you do what you do. I have learned so much from you and your expertise
I agree with Ed it’s a privilege to learn from you your a wealth of knowledge and I value your tips and teaching skills it shows that you want people to have the right information to do the job correctly talk as much as you want I’ll always watch to the end thank you for all you do Kelly
GREAT videos ! And dont mind those guys that say you talk too much ! Yes you are longwinded only because of your vast KNOWLEDGE experience and we all need that whether we have the patience or not LOL .
Happy that you are back, and I look forward to more. I consider you one of the best teachers and share your stuff with my fishing buddies. Thanks - Merry Christmas!!
It must be getting cold in Montana, Kelly's back to doing videos. If I get my house sold. buy the motor home and get on the road maybe I can come see you next summer. If not that's OK too there's a great pike river by my house in Michigan. Keep the educational stuff coming and keep warm.
I tie a lot of deer hair bass bugs. That being said, I am not a very good muddler tier. I am terrible when it comes to putting on too much hair. I really enjoyed your video. Going to have to practice tying bottom bouncers using the information you provided. Thank you very much.
Most the super tight packed flies I've seen are for top water. Apples and oranges if you're comparing streamers. In any case, wooly sculpin is a great fly.
Remember last year this time , it ain’t winter. It’s just time to dust off the vice . Tying tarpon toads with deer hair for Belize, should be fun :-) Happy Holidays
What was that at the beginning about having most of the fly tied already to reduce talk time? Sorry, couldn't resist. Another great video! I appreciate all the talk....great info.
Hello Kelly, keep talkin , every time you say something I learn something. What is that over on your right side you keep pulling the hair through, and where do I get one. Looks like its nice and fast for removing underfur.
Jeff, Glad its helping. That is a Dyna-King comb holder, it comes with or with out the clamp the one below has the clamp, thanks. Kelly www.slideinn.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/dyna-king-comb-holder-combo-555x363.jpg
Oh yeah... she rocks and she rolls... =] So, like, how's a person pass on that much information without saying that many words? I was beginning to wonder if winter was ever going to set in hard enough to get you back to the vise and the videos. See you next time you want to do another. Mike
I tie bass flies with deer hair can u tell me the thread you are using I miss the numbers I can not put the tension on mine that you do . I ordered what I though you said was the thread you use . Thanks ! Dean Bush
Scyco, have to be careful when you add glue on hair, looks good but your fly tends to float or roll over. If you do it don't put it on the bottom , it will make the fly roll over and spin your fly.

These are so enjoyable. I just sort of fall into them and then, bam, they're over and a half-hour has passed. You're a natural teacher.
GREAT videos ! And dont mind those guys that say you talk too much !

Nice thorough tutorial, with the pluses and minuses of different densities.

Hey, Kelly, great to have another video up! Loved meeting you this last August and had a blast on the Madison with Johnny.
It must be getting cold in Montana, Kelly's back to doing videos. If I get my house sold. buy the motor home and get on the road maybe I can come see you next summer. If not that's OK too there's a great pike river by my house in Michigan. Keep the educational stuff coming and keep warm.
There is a big difference between you who really set out convey learning and the other people who only want to impress by how fast they can tie a fly.
I'm going to nominate you for A.D.D. spokes person of fly tying. Glad you're back. More digs on Johnny!
Good stuff! Lots of experience and skill if you listen.
So glad to see you...really
Thank you Kelly, for your valuable instruction sir.

For some reason, I suddenly feel like I don't have enough bobbins....
What was that at the beginning about having most of the fly tied already to reduce talk time? Sorry, couldn't resist. Another great video! I appreciate all the talk....great info.
Plus 10 for the bobbin holder might have to use that if I can muster up the strength to drill holes in one.

He’s using UTC GSP 100
Thanks for the tip about unnecessary thread turns on the hook shank. I’m guilty...
Where do you get those flexible razor blades?
Those are standard double edge Razor Blades and you can get them at a lot of different stores. We also sell them online
@@TheSlideinn After buying box cutter razor blades (they are not flexible) I wanted to make sure to buy the correct item. Thank you!
You should really start a talk show Kelly....
You could cover the head with uv glue, then put on sticky eyes and cover that with glue, it looks a lot more realistic
Scyco, have to be careful when you add glue on hair, looks good but your fly tends to float or roll over. If you do it don't put it on the bottom , it will make the fly roll over and spin your fly.
Kelly Galloup ok thanks thats good to know
I’ve been trying to tie the sex dungeons I’ve given it about 8 attempts and every time I screw up with the dumbbell eyes
Don't tell me what I'm doing wromg!!!! Bwahahahahahahahaha
Super hot!
From second one I have no clue what you are talking about
