I have no aptitude with tools, and as far as I know cars operate on witchcraft and tomfoolery. I am as noob as one can be regarding car repair of any kind. I watched this video once, went to my local NAPA and bought a door panel removal kit, and swapped out my own side view mirror in half an hour. I didn't even break a single panel clip in the process.
You guys are amazing and from now on I will turn to you first if I need tutorials on how to work on any of my vehicles. Thank you SO MUCH! You just turned $100+ in labor charges into a useful $20 tool kit.

Nice video. I was able to get it installed without taking the whole door panel off. I recommend trying that first.

I stopped at 10:20 to comment. Thank you so much for this in-depth video. I am going to try and attempt this. Quick question for anyone, does a replacement mirror come with wiring ready to go? Example all I would have to do is connect it to the electrical connector?
    Thank you again!

I have a 2010 Nissan Altima. I need to replace my passenger side mirrors. My question is are the mirrors heated or not in 2010 and about how much does it cost. I see that on the one you worked on has one plugin. If I take it to Nissan they want to charge me about $350. 00 I think that's way too much. Yes I'm a 63-year-old woman most thing on my car I know about but this I don't
