They're a few things I believe could have made this gun an absolute top tier weapon, (taking from my favorite D1 gun, SGA) crowd control, a better secondary perk, and maybe even a synergy with AWR to truly make it feel exotic rather than a rapid RoF auto rifle with a beefy mag. That being said, I still love the gun and can't wait to get one for myself. Keep up the good reviews man, lovin them.
Worth noting, Sweet Business has a built in Spray and Play perk (faster reload when the mag is empty) that's not listed anywhere on the gun. Pretty handy to know.
I don't think you emphasized how fun it is to shoot a bloody minigun in Destiny.
im gonna be class biased here. this is a TITAN weapon. its meant to be used like fucking rambo or teabag behind a rally barricade and get hella DPS.
Hunter with the reload dodge can use it very well too since you can have essentially double the magazine with a brief delay to dodge.

This plus the war rig is my favorite setup at the moment. Not amazing in PvP but doing patrols and stuff with it is a blast
Sweet Business, Stormcaller using Arc Soul Damage Buff rifts for extra gun damage and the slight DPS increase from the arc soul, and Lunafaction Boots for instant reloads is by far the more useful setups compared to the Rally Barricade strat for Titans because you can move around and get the benefits whereas the Rally Barricade keeps you locked down to a point. That being said, using both together, or hell even putting a Towering Barricade on one side and a rift on the other using that setup in tandem would be the best.
It's my favorite in PvP. It take a bit of skill to charge up properly and shreds enemy supers and shields!
I miss this gun from the Beta! Still haven't gotten it to drop, but I can't wait for when it does!

Do a review on the gun: pariah, it's 450 fire rate and is very good at range ,also I forgot to mention, it's a common (white) and the first auto rifle you get from your first chest on the mission where you get your light back. Before you dismantle it ,try it out in crucible ,it's op

When last night I post "Sweet Business When?!" and you posted it 3 hours later...
Pretty good review, but when i was playing trials 4-0. We vs'd an exact team 3 times. 2 of them had mida- and other 2 had sweet buisness. It is impossible to counter them on either sides, except middle, but they never went their. PLUS!!! We vs'd that same team 3 times in a row. Like wtf
5:09 No, they won't. It deals way too low damage at base, and fire rate won't outweigh it. If you're looking for boss damage, go merciless.

Yes, they are both among the top auto rifles in the game.
Yes, most if not all 450rpm Autorifles are good. Some are better due to perks and mainly High Caliber Rounds but to answer your question, Origin Story is better then Scathlocke. Origin Story is a monster in PvE and is above average in PvP. Scathlocke is just good, its a solid weapon with no real downside other then being 600rpm.

SeKAI mida isn't op tho. It's simply the best weapon out of the meta that was born due to the 4v4 crucible. Weird thing is that they gave it back its HCR, that they took off in D1.
I literally just did this in PvP, anticipate where they're gonna come from and they just get mowed lol.

Lance Hetfield you have to kill the first blights until it gets to third area then kill the big blight. I've pumped so much dmg into the big initial ball without destroying it

I've ran out of kinetic in missions a few times.
TBH,i feel like thats why we have 2 'main' weapons now,to make weapons that chew through ammo more effective,in a way.
In pvp, 1 person with sweet business can shut down a lane for 2-3 opponents for up to 10 seconds by just spinning up the gun. It's extremely powerful in team play scenarios.

No. It is utter trash in PvP. Yes, you may get kills against bad players but that is true with Hand Cannons too. Against capable opponents there is no way you will ever win a gunfight with Sweet Business (and rarely with Hand Cannons). It is solid in PvE though I guess.

I think it's great that Bungie is coming up with variety in exotic weapons, but now if only they can make them competitive, so that everyone won't just use the same 2-3 meta over and over.

I recently got this weapon and i LOVE it,one of my favorites by far
Sweet Business + Actium is the most fun combo in the game right now. Only downside for me is the reserve ammo count being so low compared to the mag size and fire rate. Reserve counts for this, SMGs, and sidearms all need to come up.

This was my first exotic drop and immediately knew this combined with my titans action war rig would equal dps hell
The only downfall of this gun in my opinion is the ammo reserve. They should really consider giving it more ammo. I've seen legendary auto rifles with larger reserve than it.

D2MemeLord I prefer sweet business more because the Vigilance wing is way more pvp dependant, especially for trials, and it's really not that good. I want sweet business though because of its dps. You can out-damage cold heart if you use actium war rig and rally barricade on calus

I've found that prefiring corners to allow the gun to spin up made it pretty good in pvp. You gotta be first, everytime.
Dgtldead It's hilariously effective with Knucklehead Radar. By time the enemy sees you, you already have max rpm and are ADS'ing. Anyone who underestimates it and doesn't run away is probably dead.

Mini gun, with the right gear can fire for twelve seconds continuously. Estimating the cost of all those bullets to be $400,000.
Sad that the most fun things to use are usually the least effective (eg; sweet business, merciless, thundercrash, top tree dawnblade)

This gun needs a serious buff to it's reserve ammo; it carries less than the average auto-rifle (450 rounds max, while Legendary auto-rifles can carry almost 700 in total) and it burns through ammo much more rapidly.
This gun makes me feel like an Ac-130 when I use robes of..........something idk but it's dam fun :)
When I inspect exotic engrams, this is always on the far left, saying it's in my collection. It isn't, however.
If it had more reserve ammo I wouldn't unequip it. The reserve ammo auto reload doesn't seem at all useful though. And I wish the ornament weren't wood, or else I'd have that equipped all the time too.

I can't get this weapon to save my life.... I keep looking at my exotics and they all have a chance of being it but they never are.
Stack this with Actium War Rig and you'll fire the weapon that seems like an eternity.
I still need mine. I dunno what I'd pair it with. I try to use foundry specifics guns on each character. Using sweet business would remove my hakke kinetic frontier justice, though at long range I can use the energy veist black scorpion scout
This makes you wonder why they took machine guns out completely. This is technically a machine gun. I have yet to get this but I've been hunting for it. Just for the nostalgia of d1.
Great Review, Patrick i would be intrested in your opinions about the D2 endgame and the removal of nearly all rpg aspects to the game.

This AR feels incredibly powerful, like an exotic weapon should. So does the risk runner. These are two things that bungie did right!
I want sweet business sooooo bad. but all I keep getting is duplicates over and over again. I only have heavy exotics. I haven't got any energy weapon exotics or any kinetic weapon exotics from an engram yet and I've been playing since launch.=( I'm not counting cold heart or the story given exotics cause of course they're given to you.

I have it, but haven't used it yet. I was thinking, it could be cool to get the instant reload with the Hunter class ability. And, then by the time you finish the mag, your class ability will almost be full again.
I use this in The Crucible and you could just mow down people it's freaking awesome

I’m so lucky. This was my most wanted gun in the game, I play a single match of crucible, and I get it at the end of the match.
uh dont you mean gatling gun holtzman? cause a mini gun have that delayed feature where it doesnt fire until its at max rate of fire while a gatling gun does fire bullets while it ramps up like the SB! i should know cause i tested the real thing when i was in the military years back.
