start- delta starters used for 3 phase motors..3 phase induction motors are self starting..starters are used only for safe starting(relays, oc protectives device may be associated for safe running ) not for self starting.

Ok in delta starting current is 3 times more, and what about the running current?is it same in star and delta

Actually in star delta, staring is in star, and running is in delta so running current means its in delta
