You need to remove the Safari Download Enabler package before doing this or it won't work!!! Devices running iOS 5-10 can be affected by this. I personally don't have any issues on my device, but there's a chance you will. Only certain repos should be affected by this, including IPGs Repository, who is the same person who provides the updated certificate that will actually load on old browsers. It should also only affect HTTPS repos, which Cydia doesn't even seem to automatically try to use when adding a new source, so I doubt many people will have this problem. the reason why you need to set your time back is because Pangu's certificate expired and Pangu literally abandoned the jailbreak so nobody is working on the jailbreak anymore.
So at 6:36 in this video there is a smash cut from general home screen to the 'Are you sure you want to open Pangu' prompt. I assume this is just because of focus issues and I take this to mean that this 'just happens' without user needing to do anything but I'm not having this experience so can I confirm this is the case?
Hi, i just decided to jailbreak my iPhone 4 with iOS 7.1.2, i got the pangu 1.0 version (i should've gotten the latest one without any bugs), and when the phone restarted and showed the "Enjoy the jailbreak" Screen, the screen started to fade away and my phone kept bootlooping for a few times and then it somehow managed to complete the installation and Cydia was installed, i went into Cydia and i waited for the filesystem thing to load, i waited for 5-6 mins and then the screen faded away again and it kept restarting and at each restart, the apple logo would fade away and keep the phone into a bootloop, i tried to restore it in so many ways (iTunes in recovery mode, 3utools in recovery mode, iTunes in dfu mode, 3utools in dfu mode, nothing worked and the phone would disconnect itself in the process of the restoration and also the screen fading away there aswell!) What do you think i should try next? At this point i think i just bricked it due to that jailbreak... Edit: i forgot to mention that my iPhone 4 keeps going into recovery mode each time i power it on, i'm assuming that the system got erased but for some reason i can't reinstall It's os on it, also when my phone did manage to boot up, i did notice a pop-up telling me that the phone is full of storage, which most probably played a part in this issue i'm currently facing... Just to clarify smth: i'm not saying that your video was bad or smth, i most probably did smth wrong in the process i guess, i just want to know if you have any idea of how i could fix it, thanks in advance 👍
Sorry to hear you’re having issues. You HAVE to use the 1.0 version since the newer ones rely on a server that’s been gone for years, so there isn’t another option unfortunately. Your issue sounds like a hardware failure or a connection issue, not sure which. The chances of this jailbreak bricking the phone are extraordinary low. It’s possible, but I doubt it. Questions: Have you tried multiple computers? Multiple cables? What condition is the battery in? Did it ever crash prior to jailbreaking? It’s possible that it’s a badly timed NAND failure, or it’s possible it’s any of the above. Hard to tell. Good news is that the iPhone 4 is super cheap so it isn’t the end of the world if that one’s lost. I hope you can get it sorted out though.
@@3lectr1cwell yeah, my iPhone 4 did crashed when i was in the pangu 1.0 Jailbreak app, it did managed to boot back into the system after a few bootloops, and i got a notification in which i was told that my iphone was full of storage (idk if that would be a factor for my iphone getting bricked, but who knows), and when i opened the cydia app, i waited at the filesystem thing for around 2-3 minutes and after that my iphone kept bootlooping and now i can't even restore it since it keeps disconnecting itself. I did bought another iPhone 4 with a broken screen and i'll just use It's logic board into my bricked iPhone and hopefully that's gonna do the job, i'll probably not jailbreak it this time since i don't want to risk it much Edit: thanks for the reply, really appreciate it 👍 Edit: 1. I tried restoring my iPhone 4 on both my macbook air from 2010 and also on my windows 10 desktop, same result unfortunately. 2. The battery is in good condition, it lasts 4-5 hours so i don't think it's the battery either. 4. As i mentioned at the very top, yes, my iPhone 4 did crashed during the Jailbreak due to "full storage" prompts i was receiving.
The full storage prompt is 100% normal and is a side effect of the jailbreak software. You’ll get used seeing that phantom warning pretty much every time you jailbreak a device. It happens right after the jailbreak is activated usually, I’m still not sure what causes it but it happens on a WIDE range of jailbreak tools. That’s to say, that’s definitely not it (unless your storage actually was full). Sounds like a case of real bad luck to me.

It shows on pc pangu iPhone 3,1, and when I get stuck at rebooting and pango logo on the screen it shows only the text "Enjoy the jailbreak" it doesn't show more text as yours does. And could that be battery vise connected, because I was having below 10% battery?
Not sure what’s up unfortunately, sorry. Try with a fully charged battery if you haven’t already. Make sure you’re restoring the device to factory settings in iTunes as well instead of resetting from the device. I’m pretty sure you’re restoring it properly but I’ve had some people who thought they were the same thing so I’m just making sure.
up untill 9:45 everything went ok. After the filesystem was complete the phone rebooted. I tried going to the home screen but it wont let me. It just reboots. I don't know what to do
Try holding down the volume up button while it boots - it sounds like a problematic tweak is causing it to boot loop, but that shouldn’t happen on a “clean” jailbreak. I think you’re best bet is to restore the device in iTunes (hold power and home button until you’re in recovery mode) and try again. Don’t worry, you’re phone isn’t bricked.

I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I have never used Facebook so I can’t help you there. As for the browser, you can try to download chrome or Firefox, but in the end they won’t be much better than safari. No one supports such an old device anymore. You won’t be able to use cydia to get unsupported apps running - it simply isn’t possible, sorry.
On some apps, yes. Add “cydia.invoxiplaygames.uk” to cydia and download “Checkmate, Store!”. That should allow you to get the last compatible versions of a lot of apps. Many of the old versions don’t work anymore (discord and TH-cam for example), but it’s better than nothing.

I looked into the same thing when I got a carrier locked iPhone 4, and couldn’t find anything unfortunately. I ended up buying a cheap old AT&T SIM off eBay to use for activation. I’ll bet there’s some way though, but this isn’t it.

I stay far away from anything made by Facebook and I also stay far away from Twitter so I’m not really the person to go to for info on that. My guess is that there isn’t a good way though because the device is too old.
So I installed AFC2 and it worked but. I have to constantly reinstall it when the device reboots or else cool booter simply refuses to work. I found this tweak through another video to fix my coolbooter.
I didn’t know about that fix! I’ll have to give it a go. I would have no idea on how to fix the reboot problem though. My 32GB 4 is downgraded to 4.3.5 right now though so there isn’t much I can do for testing right now.

i have a iphone 4 running 7.1.2. whenever i press jailbreak on pangu it just says loading bundles forever and never changes i am currently on windows 11 BUT i have also tried on windows vista with itunes 10.0.5.5 same issue. im kind of stuck and google is not my friend in this situation. any ideas?
Well I completed this and everything was fine showed the cleaning up at the end of the jailbreak but now it keeps rebooting and saying "Welcome to Pangu jailbreak" and it just reboots infinite reboot. Edit: The trick is to remove your iPhone battery but it will continue to go back to infinite reboot not sure why this happens but if you wait some time the phone will boot up and start working but this may happen again maybe its my phone idk.
I remember someone else having that problem but I forget if/what the solution was. My best advice would be to put the device into DFU mode, restore in iTunes and try again. Another guy who had a boot loop said that shining a flashlight over the proximity sensor fixed it for some reason. No idea why. These sort of issues are rare, but they do happen sometimes.
I jailbreaked my other iphone 4 and it's showing an error when you install anything, it says "the requested modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflict that cannot be automatically found or fixed" please help🙏
Pangu bricked my phone after watching your video, it installed, rebooted, I pressed Cydia and it said “cannot connect”. I ran the jailbreak again and then, it died. Vibration motor is still buzzing, but nothing else.
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Just a word of advice though - never try to run a jailbreak tool on top of an already jailbroken system. That’s a recipe for trouble. Sounds like you just had a connection issue with cydia that could be fixed. Go ahead and hold the power and home buttons for several seconds to do a hard reboot. If that doesn’t bring it back, look up instructions on how to put your phone into recovery or DFU mode in order to do a full restore to wipe your phone, which will absolutely bring it back unless you’ve had some hardware failure.

Yeah if i ever find a replacement for it, the thing is i didn't disconnect the cable myself, the program did it by itself in the middle of the jailbreak, didn't even ask me about installing anything
That sucks… I’m sorry that happened. There are some applications you can use to force it into recovery but I don’t think those will work if the device is stuck in a boot loop with a dead home button. That’s a tough situation.

Do a hard reset, that should at least get it to try rebooting. If it always goes back to the black screen then put it in recovery mode and restore in iTunes. If you can’t even get the Apple logo, but the device is working (just with no display) then it must have been a freak display failure, it’s impossible for this tool to break the display.
Bro i need your help. Pangu just keeps saying "Please make sure you have a proper internet connection" and i can't jailbreak my phone, i've tried searching everywhere and doing everything people said but it seems for everyone that the problem magically solved itself and i don't know how. when i went to install safari download enabler, it froze for a while so i was unsure what was wrong so i pressed the power button twice (off and then to turn it on not powering off) the screen turned white so then i powered it off enirely and now it is on a boot loop.
Please help. I got it jailbroken and Cydia app is still there but I open it and it crashes immediately. I looked up how to fix it and it says go to my backup version and rejailbreak from there. So I restore the backup and the Cydia app is still there and the pangu app also says it is jailbroken.
Clean restore from scratch and then try to re jailbreak. If you need the backup then try restoring it from device setup. If you’re having problems ask r/legacyjailbreak - I’m really not too qualified to figure out what exactly is up if you aren’t able to clean restore because you need your app data.
@@3lectr1c I fixed it by redownloading the entire iOS software from iTunes and going back to backup, now Cydia is gone and pangu doesn’t say jailbroken :D I’ll do another backup and jailbreak again tomorrow
Man this thing didn't work for me, my device rebooted after Cydia "preparing filesystem" message, and when I saw, my settings and a lot of stock apps were gone, except photos any help? tried restoring through iTunes, I already had a backup in case but my settings are not visible, nor Cydia
Restoring from iTunes didn’t correct this? It absolutely should have, that sounds just like a file system corruption which a restore should absolutely fix. I’ve had the same thing happen on a different device.

Social media doesn’t work on iOS 7 anymore pretty much across the board. I’ve got a sideloading tutorial on my channel though if you want to check out how to get games installed. Just about anything that relied on an external server to work though won’t anymore though.
Hi! I just did the steps but no extra booting happened. I did everything right, but there is no Cydia. I mean that the Cydia tar file is injected into the phone, but nothing happened after the 10 times I have tried this
Try refreshing your repos and such, it should be there. It’s possible something’s changed since I made the video though, I’ll try to take a look at that myself at some point.
Looks like it’s on the proscurus repo but you shouldn’t add that one on an iOS 7 jailbreak, many tweaks from it will break stuff. I’d try seeing if you can install an older filza version and see if that still requires it
No, they’re unsupported for a reason. You can install “Checkmate Store” from IPG’s repo to get around some unsupported blocks for apps but you can’t run the latest apps using it because they were never supported to begin with. Repo is cydia.invoxiplaygames.uk

There’s current no way I know of to downgrade it untethered like that - I believe there are a couple ways to do it tethered, but that requires a computer to boot the phone every time.

No, this will not. I don’t know a lot about jailbreaking 7.0.4, but I just heard from someone that did and they ended up bootlooping the device due to how it was originally updated to that version. I’d be very careful and look into it elsewhere if you want to keep the phone on that version and dump blobs. The tool is called evasion7 but LOOK INTO IT FIRST before trying or you could lose the unsigned version.

I don’t generally assist with password bypasses, as the tools that claim to do them are usually pretty fishy. If the device is on an iCloud account you still have the details for/isn’t iCloud locked, you can restore it to factory settings in iTunes though. The only password bypass I know of works on iOS 5 and earlier, and uses a pretty fishy tool to do it, but I’m guessing yours isn’t on iOS 5.
I put instructions in the description, I don’t know any better way to explain it than that. You need to download Pangu 1.0 for Windows, not Pangu8 or Pangu9. It’s in that link.

I finished all the steps till 09:20. Ever since that the phone keeps rebooting all the time. Apple logo then pangu logo and it repeats.

When issues like this happen, you’ll have to force the device into recovery or DFU mode and then wipe it clean using an iTunes restore.

It shows on pc pangu iPhone 3,1, and when I get stuck at rebooting and pango logo on the screen it shows only the text "Enjoy the jailbreak" it doesn't show more text as yours does. And could that be battery vise connected, because I was having below 10% battery?
Not sure what’s up unfortunately, sorry. Try with a fully charged battery if you haven’t already. Make sure you’re restoring the device to factory settings in iTunes as well instead of resetting from the device. I’m pretty sure you’re restoring it properly but I’ve had some people who thought they were the same thing so I’m just making sure.

Try holding down the volume up button while it boots - it sounds like a problematic tweak is causing it to boot loop, but that shouldn’t happen on a “clean” jailbreak. I think you’re best bet is to restore the device in iTunes (hold power and home button until you’re in recovery mode) and try again. Don’t worry, you’re phone isn’t bricked.

I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I have never used Facebook so I can’t help you there. As for the browser, you can try to download chrome or Firefox, but in the end they won’t be much better than safari. No one supports such an old device anymore. You won’t be able to use cydia to get unsupported apps running - it simply isn’t possible, sorry.

On some apps, yes. Add “cydia.invoxiplaygames.uk” to cydia and download “Checkmate, Store!”. That should allow you to get the last compatible versions of a lot of apps. Many of the old versions don’t work anymore (discord and TH-cam for example), but it’s better than nothing.

Nope. That tweak fixes “app is incompatible with this iPhone”. You’re app just needs the newer version.

I looked into the same thing when I got a carrier locked iPhone 4, and couldn’t find anything unfortunately. I ended up buying a cheap old AT&T SIM off eBay to use for activation. I’ll bet there’s some way though, but this isn’t it.

3. I stay far away from anything made by Facebook and I also stay far away from Twitter so I’m not really the person to go to for info on that. My guess is that there isn’t a good way though because the device is too old.

So I installed AFC2 and it worked but. I have to constantly reinstall it when the device reboots or else cool booter simply refuses to work. I found this tweak through another video to fix my coolbooter.
I didn’t know about that fix! I’ll have to give it a go. I would have no idea on how to fix the reboot problem though. My 32GB 4 is downgraded to 4.3.5 right now though so there isn’t much I can do for testing right now.

Well I completed this and everything was fine showed the cleaning up at the end of the jailbreak but now it keeps rebooting and saying "Welcome to Pangu jailbreak" and it just reboots infinite reboot.
Edit: The trick is to remove your iPhone battery but it will continue to go back to infinite reboot not sure why this happens but if you wait some time the phone will boot up and start working but this may happen again maybe its my phone idk.
I remember someone else having that problem but I forget if/what the solution was. My best advice would be to put the device into DFU mode, restore in iTunes and try again. Another guy who had a boot loop said that shining a flashlight over the proximity sensor fixed it for some reason. No idea why. These sort of issues are rare, but they do happen sometimes.

Pangu bricked my phone after watching your video, it installed, rebooted, I pressed Cydia and it said “cannot connect”. I ran the jailbreak again and then, it died. Vibration motor is still buzzing, but nothing else.
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Just a word of advice though - never try to run a jailbreak tool on top of an already jailbroken system. That’s a recipe for trouble. Sounds like you just had a connection issue with cydia that could be fixed.
Go ahead and hold the power and home buttons for several seconds to do a hard reboot. If that doesn’t bring it back, look up instructions on how to put your phone into recovery or DFU mode in order to do a full restore to wipe your phone, which will absolutely bring it back unless you’ve had some hardware failure.

the reason why i don't use 3u tools is because it can only jailbreak devices over 2013 (unless you have windows 7)

That sucks… I’m sorry that happened. There are some applications you can use to force it into recovery but I don’t think those will work if the device is stuck in a boot loop with a dead home button. That’s a tough situation.

4S on 7.1.2? Usually those would be on 9.3.5 but since you jailbroke it you probably used downgrade software.

Do a hard reset, that should at least get it to try rebooting. If it always goes back to the black screen then put it in recovery mode and restore in iTunes. If you can’t even get the Apple logo, but the device is working (just with no display) then it must have been a freak display failure, it’s impossible for this tool to break the display.
Bro i need your help. Pangu just keeps saying "Please make sure you have a proper internet connection" and i can't jailbreak my phone, i've tried searching everywhere and doing everything people said but it seems for everyone that the problem magically solved itself and i don't know how. Do you know a method to fix this problem or is it doing it for you too ?

@@3lectr1c Yeah i just keep mine in its case most of the time so its in Perfect Condition lol (Playing music too loud can also cause that Issue with you're speakers) found out u can change ur Ios charging sound to the IOS 6 one simply look up -Ios 6 charging sound- one of the first things i did after installing Winter Board - Also Calculator keeps crashing is that caused by the Pangu Jailbreak in anyway or maybe a Tweak i have Previously downloaded because i removed all of my tweaks and it still crashed lol
That’s strange for sure! Jailbreaks can just cause weird issues sometimes. You can always restore and start over.

Please help. I got it jailbroken and Cydia app is still there but I open it and it crashes immediately. I looked up how to fix it and it says go to my backup version and rejailbreak from there. So I restore the backup and the Cydia app is still there and the pangu app also says it is jailbroken.
Clean restore from scratch and then try to re jailbreak. If you need the backup then try restoring it from device setup. If you’re having problems ask r/legacyjailbreak - I’m really not too qualified to figure out what exactly is up if you aren’t able to clean restore because you need your app data.
@@3lectr1c I think the issue is I didn’t wipe the phone before restoring, I only just deleted all the photos and backed them up to save space

@@3lectr1c I fixed it by redownloading the entire iOS software from iTunes and going back to backup, now Cydia is gone and pangu doesn’t say jailbroken :D I’ll do another backup and jailbreak again tomorrow

Restoring from iTunes didn’t correct this? It absolutely should have, that sounds just like a file system corruption which a restore should absolutely fix. I’ve had the same thing happen on a different device.

However after restore since my phone is not on jailbreak anymore, I written a mail to apple on the iCloud activation lock removal, but was thinking of downgrading to iOS 6, hoping it'll fix the problems

Social media doesn’t work on iOS 7 anymore pretty much across the board. I’ve got a sideloading tutorial on my channel though if you want to check out how to get games installed. Just about anything that relied on an external server to work though won’t anymore though.

Did you download the version from the description? The latest version won’t work, you need version 1.0.

Try refreshing your repos and such, it should be there. It’s possible something’s changed since I made the video though, I’ll try to take a look at that myself at some point.
Looks like it’s on the proscurus repo but you shouldn’t add that one on an iOS 7 jailbreak, many tweaks from it will break stuff. I’d try seeing if you can install an older filza version and see if that still requires it

No, they’re unsupported for a reason. You can install “Checkmate Store” from IPG’s repo to get around some unsupported blocks for apps but you can’t run the latest apps using it because they were never supported to begin with. Repo is cydia.invoxiplaygames.uk

There’s current no way I know of to downgrade it untethered like that - I believe there are a couple ways to do it tethered, but that requires a computer to boot the phone every time.

No, this will not. I don’t know a lot about jailbreaking 7.0.4, but I just heard from someone that did and they ended up bootlooping the device due to how it was originally updated to that version. I’d be very careful and look into it elsewhere if you want to keep the phone on that version and dump blobs. The tool is called evasion7 but LOOK INTO IT FIRST before trying or you could lose the unsigned version.

I don’t generally assist with password bypasses, as the tools that claim to do them are usually pretty fishy. If the device is on an iCloud account you still have the details for/isn’t iCloud locked, you can restore it to factory settings in iTunes though. The only password bypass I know of works on iOS 5 and earlier, and uses a pretty fishy tool to do it, but I’m guessing yours isn’t on iOS 5.
