1998 Irish Super Prix

The European Formula BOSS series returned to Mondello Park in 1998 with the new International loop giving these high powered machines the perfect terrain to stretch their legs. Tony Worswick in his ex F1 Jordan 194 qualified on pole and led for most of the race but it was the hard charging Nigel Greensall, who had to start from the pitlane in his Tyrell, that eventually won. Irish driver Sarah Kavanagh claimed the final podium place in her Reynard F3000.

Wow this is a blast from the past! Loved the Boss series and watching Tony Worswick racing that car….the first f1 car i saw as a kid. Great times
