    Nurse Katherine Here is my review after wearing the Dansko XP 2.0 Black Pull Up clogs for a week- Ordered for Radiography clinicals.
    The fit was perfect. I normally wear 6.5 and I ordered size 7US/37UK. After the first day of wear my feet were slightly sore, every day after I’ve had zero pain. There were no issues with blisters or rubbing at all. After wearing them for a week, today I wore flats instead and OMG. My feet are KILLING me. I did not realize that these shoes were actually helping to relieve my back pain as well as plantar fasciitis pain. As soon as I got home today I slid them on and it was INSTANT. Relief. Very happy with this investment. I also like that my feet feel like they are breathing and not sweating in these shoes. They are slightly squeaky/loud on hospital floors.
    The height is really the only thing you have to get used to. If someone rolls their ankles easily I might suggest a different version or that they add an ankle support/compression for extra stability. I don’t recommend getting these if you are planning on running around an ER. Possible trip hazard. However they are waterproof and slip resistant. Perfect for being on your feet all day.
    *Dansko is currently giving away 2 free pairs a week for healthcare workers and a friend in healthcare- the drawing details are on their IG page*

      Also the soles are removable to put your own inserts if you like. So far the ones they come with work well for me.

    Love the review! It's pretty easy to wash most sneakers...a little scrub brush, a dash of laundry soap, a dash of white vinegar, scrub clean and air dry :)

    I live in my Crocs as a nursing student. We are forced to wear all white at the hospital for clinicals and I’m glad to wear something that is easy to clean. I want to get some of the Clove brand once I graduate.

    I think sneakers look the cutest but I love my danskos...especially since they came out with the "lightweight" option. Love those purple nikes though, so cute!

    I bought dansko when I became a nurse and I was miserable for 6 months. They hurt my feet and my feet never mold. It broke my heart to not use them because I paid so much for them.

    • @Katherine_Ann
      @Katherine_Ann  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ah that's hard! Yeah, if they're just destroying your feet there's no use in forcing yourself to wear them. Thanks for your comment!

    Just ordered Dansko XP 2.0 Black Pull Up clogs for clinicals. According to most of the reviews they’re more lightweight than the originals. The original’s Heel height is listed as 2.75” and the 2.0 Heel height is 1.75"
    However, my main concern is Comfort. I have plantar fasciitis so I was willing to spend a little extra. Ordered to give myself time to break them in. I’ll post an update after I give them a try. At the very least, the sole is removable so I can always add a better one.

    • @Katherine_Ann
      @Katherine_Ann  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Please let me know what you think of them once you get them! That's awesome that there is a lightweight option and lower heel!

    • @LoneStarStinger

      Nurse Katherine I will! It’s scary spending that much on something without being sure! Maybe it will help someone else.

      Nurse Katherine So the shoes came in. Shipping took 3 days. They fit well, are on the narrow side. I got regular but wide is an option. Leather smells amazing, no flaws that I can see. I Will update after wearing a little longer. They don’t feel massive or super heavy, I do however, feel much taller.

    Sneaker companies used to be a lot better with their insoles but today most skimp on insole quality. Reebok Classic Leathers are pretty decent but if you can find a brand new vintage pair, the quality is much better and they're twice as comfy IMO. eBay is a great place to look.

    • @Katherine_Ann
      @Katherine_Ann  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Anne! So after 2 days of wearing them I like them a lot! I was able to wipe them off too with a santi wipe from work and I even has the opportunity to step in puddles of urine 🤦‍♀️ and not slip lol!!!!
      I will say I absolutely will be getting insoles for them as I got shin splints. Personally though I always have to wear insoles with all sneakers.

    • @Katherine_Ann
      @Katherine_Ann  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure if they cater to wider feet or not. They seem a bit more narrow in the toe when looking at them. They do loosen up quite wide it seems though.

    Hi there. I know this may be a long shot but it’s worth asking! I’m been following you and enjoy your content and would love to help out my fellow nurses with some issuers
    I’ve noticed for awhile. So many nurses pay so much money for nursing shoes especially Dansko’s. I wanted to let you know I’m coming out with a shoe for us nurses that helps with back pain, comfort and that’s way cheaper than Dansko.
    It would be awesome if we can talk about content related to that or I can send you a free sample and you can share it on your platform. If not no problem! I’m just trying to help out us nurses and thank you for listening!
    Let me know,
    Sincerely,
    Angelica Dykert
