I have been a respiratory therapist for 16 years. 2 years in danskos changed my life. I will never wear anything else. I buy expensive Nikes, Adidas etc but when I wear them at work my feet hurt, back hurts etc. Danskos I have never had pain. I have better posture when I'm walking. They last FOREVER. amazing quality and the absolute best.
I just purchased the XP 2.0 clogs, after three 12 hour shifts I can say that these clogs are statistically significant, they work.
I switched over to the XP2 when they first came out. So light weight, still very supportive, and so much more comfy. I still have some of my regular Danskos, I pulled a pair out the other day, they felt like cinderblocks compared to the XP2.
I wear socks with mine. Your Dansko color clogs are so fun! I have pink Cloves too.

* I wear my Birkinstock nursing clogs with compression socks. Straight out of the box they were perfect for me, but then again I have wide feet with high arches and have been wearing Birks non-stop for the last 4 years, even prior to enrolling in school as a non-traditional student.
* I do not own any Dansko's but have been told that they will require a break-in period and that they are supposed to be "shifty"; it's part of the way that they work. Also, that during the break-in period, expect the top of your foot to become sore and that you should not wear them for 1 month straight. That you will want to give it a break every so often. Even to the point that some nurses have tossed them into the corner and not put them on for several months in between uses because they hurt so bad from wearing them too much in a row. Adding this part because a youtube video is not worth making yourself hurt over... :-)

Though I’m a general manager at a restaurant and not a nurse, I too work many hours on my feet. I have had my danskos for about 6 months and I’m never getting another pair of work shoes again. I totally feel goofy in them but that’s okay because they save my feet and back . I put on an insole after buying a pair that was too big by mistake and now my feet are nice and snug . I also wear them with black ankle socks
I love that you can wipe them off easily

I can't say for sure, but could be worth looking in to.
I didn’t like the socks showing thing either! I love my danskos with black compression socks and regular non-jogger pants
They do feel so funny at first but now I’m obsessed!

Yesterday was so rough! My feer were swollen and waking up this morning they still are a bit. How did you "break them in"?
Nurse Katherine Wow really?! I’ve never had to break them in- sizing is key though- heel shouldn’t touch the back and toes shouldn’t touch the front - the part across the top of the foot is what holds it on. As long as I go by this, they’re perfect.
I wanted to love my danskos so much but they just didn’t work for me. My feet and back killed, not to mentioned I looked like a baby giraffe trying to get its footing every time I ran to a bed alarm. I’m a sneaker gal

@@Katherine_Ann went to Nordstroms’s and tried on a pair. The shoes slipped up and down on the heel. She said that was normal. Is this true?

Really worth seeing video, great unboxing of the Dansko clogs, especially for those who don't know the shoes yet. I appreciate them very much, but I only wear them barefoot! During your one-month test, I would definitely wear them barefoot once 👣😎 Best regards

@@Katherine_Ann That would make me happy. Of course it's always an individual thing, but I personally appreciate the comfort, the feel and the look when I wear them barefoot. The easy slipping out is so wanted with closed clogs from Dansko. You just have to get used to immovable soles, then they are a relief for your feet. I wear them in alternation with other shoes, which do my feet well 👣😎 Best regards
