I just graduated from nursing school. Sticky notes and flash cards are must!!! You will be using it a lot..
My whole nursing program was dependent on planner. Planner is great!!! It keeps you on top of everything if you follow it. Most importantly read your materials before the class.. it’s literally helps you a lot!!!! I promise that the easiest way to stay on top of everything and your instructor will LOVE you. Good luck 🍀
Would you do a video on the proper way to fill in a planner from day1 and through out the semester. It may sound basic but it would be beneficial.

Hi! I just got my acceptance letter Wednesday and I was so excited. I’ve been in the medical field for 9 years so I’m praying this will give me an added bonus for studying. I noticed that you have the loose lead version of fundamentals class. I may try that because it helps to put it into the binder. Thanks for this video and look forward to more videos.
first, CONGRATSSS! 🥳 your medial experience will def be a bonus, after I completed fundamentals, so far for me nursing school has been A&P on steroids lol. i’m taking med surg I now. def touch back on those body systems when/if you can, a strong anatomy and physiology foundation is good to have! also, i love the binder books, i normally only take the chapters i need for the week with me in the binder because they can be heavy! but thank you for your support, i truly appreciate it! 💕💕

Regarding the shoes, there are other options as well and I would invest in a more comfortable fitting shoe especially since you’ll be on your feet for long periods.

We have the same stethoscope and case, except my steth is maroon and case is black. Those cases from amazon are bigger than I expected and hold a lot more than just a stethoscope. :)

You can’t keep your nose ring in even though you wear a mask all day? Been debating getting a nose ring...still taking prerequisites but I figured I could hide it behind my mask when I get to that point lol
I made the mistake of lowering my mask to drink water and my professor saw it and told me I had to remove it, so I just wear clear to avoid getting told anything!
Yeah, it depends on your program too. I have a nostril piercing as well as a septum piercing but I was in the graduating class so they weren’t as strict and I kept my piercings in

It’s an accelerated program! I switch to a new class every 8 weeks!
@@TIAJXO OHH may I ask how or like what were the qualifications needed to go into an accelerated program?
@@Jana-om1xm have the prerequisites done prior and most accelerated programs are for those who already have a bachelors in something else so the program takes them directly to nurse core
Jana Why not ask the school you’re interested in going to.
@@Jana-om1xm For my particular program I had to have prerequisites courses done like math, english, and both A&P I and II to name a few. A certain gpa was required as well as the needed score on the TEAS test. All programs requirements are similar in a way but they are also different with what gpa and entrance exam that program wants! Hope this was helpful! 💕
