This is the closing credit soundtrack for an Italian sci-fi fantasy movie called CREATORS : THE PAST starring Bruce Payne, William Shatner and Gerald Depardieu among others. Supposed to premiere last March 19th in Italy but was postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Dimash is a 26 year old singer/songerwriter/multi instrumentalist from Kazakhstan (around China/Russia). He speaks in 3 languages, sings in more than 12, and plays many instruments from piano to dombra. He's been singing since the age of 5. His parents are both musicians. His dad is a lyricist and mom sings opera. He also is a very active dude and plays many sports and has been known to enjoy swimming. He rose to popularity because of the performance you watched which was on the show "The Singer" back in 2017. Unfortunately you can't see how many views he has over on the chinese youtube platform here in the US... but this video has over 1 billion views in China. He was the only non-Chinese competitor on the show and was put in as a wildcard. The performance you watched was the first episode and he was the first performance of the show that year. What makes it even more remarkable is, the competition puts professional artists to compete against one another. That's just part of the reason why the audience gave him a standing ovation. He was unheard of in China before this. Dimash has a 6 octave range, getting closer to 7 now a days. Maria Carey is in the 5 range.... but honestly the range isn't really what sets him apart as the world's best vocalist in my opinion. He's extremely versatile (he sings all common genres, styles), sings with so much passion it hurts, and has unbelievable stage presence. Dimash calls his fans Dears because they are dear to his heart... and if you continue this Dimash journey, I'm positive you will become one too :)
Great job summing up 3 yrs in a paragraph Jeremy.....this Grandma DEAR of over 3 yrs can tell you that I have been so disappointed with US singers (Mariah included) that tend to lean on auto tune and effects. Dimash has been perfecting his God given talent since 5 yrs old, has several degrees and STILL works to improve himself as a singer and personally on a daily basis. He is VERY humble and gives 150% to his parents, family and dears. What you hear is all Dimash...this video was over 3 yrs ago. He just turned 26 yrs old on May 24th and since his tour has been put on hold- he did his first live interview on his IG and TH-cam and answered all sorts of questions with patience and humor. So welcome to Dimash world- no song is like the other and each time he sings his songs- it is with passion and different. This Grandma Dear from Texas can say that working from home has been lots less stressful listening to Dimash in the background. After watching his concerts of 2 1/2- 3 hrs of non stop music and energy with all sorts of genres- Dimash is like NO OTHER. He was unknown in China when he performed this song but overnight he became an overnight favourite - 600 million views there but TH-cam & Instagram are banned in China. He has won numerous awards, sang movie & computer game soundtracks, had a plane with his image on, is seen as an Ambassador for his country Kazakhstan etc etc He then spent a lot of time last year in Russia (mentored by Igor Krutoy) and practically the same thing happened winning awards that previously only Russian artists had won. We are hoping that he will conquer the west as well and personally I believe that is only a matter of time as the most respected vocal coaches (worldwide) all say that he is a once in a lifetime singer and are now teaching skills using him as their example. Mariah Carey have 5 octaves on record, but in live performances her vocal range is under 5 octaves.
Dimash in live have around 7 octaves(around 6 and 1/2. From A1 to whistle note D8,which is of the piano). On the record he have much more.
Also,he sings in 12 different languages, play 7 musical instruments, he's composer as well.
Year a go Dimash release his first digital music album "iD",which became platinum only in 37 seconds after releasing and 3× platinum in one hour.
I'm pretty sure he only plays 3 instruments, dombra, drums and piano.

He is the Only singer who can sing Any style of music in Any vocal register. It doesn't really matter which song you decide to react to next as he is so good he'll blow your minds. Mariah Carey used to have 4.5 octaves (studio recorded, not live), but she couldn't sing all the notes in those octaves. She could sing regular up to a certain point, then she'd jump to her whistle register, skipping a bunch of notes. Dimash can be seen singing live from F1 to D8 (which is off the piano keyboard) and he can sing all the notes, which is 6 octaves and nine half-steps, almost 7 octaves.
You should definitely watch Sinful Passion. I won't ruin it but there's a part in that song that's going to make you fall out of your chair, lol. In case you didn't know, here's a little info about Dimash. He is 26 years old and from Kazakhstan. He can sing in 12 languages and play seven instruments, and even won a national piano contest. Dimash was a contestant on The World's Best, but he found out the producer's lied to him about kids also competing, so he took himself out to let the a kid win. Stand up guy. He doen't like contests. He is loved in Asia and Europe but isn't well known in the U.S. because he won't let the music execs take control of his music and manipulate it into garbage. He's real adamant about being in full control of his music and the creative process, and he does it himself. Dimash started singing and piano lessons when he was 4-5 years old. He spent his school years in music centered schools, and has degrees in classical music, vocal music, contemporary and jazz music, and is currently working on his masters degree in composing. He's 6'3" and has exceptionally long vocal chords, even for someone his height. He's also a model and has been on the cover of many magazines including Men's Health, Lifestyle, Fashion, Elle, and was featured in Cosmopolitan. Oh, and he has perfect pitch. He's one of the most humble and soft spoken people you will meet. Also, yes he's really this good. You can search up youtube videos of him singing live, no mic. I watched a 50+ minute montage of him singing live no mic in various places for various people, on the news, for fans, family, etc. He sounds perfect no matter what. It's crazy.

Google is your friend (kind off)after this performance, the very next day there was 600 million hits for that song. Saw him in NYC in December of last year at sold out concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Had to smack myself in a head to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. People from over 60 countries traveled to attend his concert. It was mind blowing, unreal. People crying, laughing. He is from another Universe and there is no limit to his talent and charisma. He plays 7 or more instruments, sings in 12 languages, composes, highly educated. Very athletic, 6’3” tall.

Because I've seen him playing the Turkish March on a guitar and of course Abai on the dombra, amongst others. Drums with the MJ set and the piano when he's composing and also when he sang Adagio.
Dimash is the only one that I watch everyday since I found him, no other great singer can make me watch them everyday but Dimash.

Dimash is a true artist not just a singer , he has 2 degrees in classical and contemporary music and working on his third degree this time in musical composition , has classical training since the age of 5 , has 6 octaves vocal range , has the highest note ever ( in a live performance ) , performed in more than 9 countries and in 12 different languages , he turned down an offer to join the Astana Opera one of the biggest Opera houses in the world because he wanted to make his own new style of music which he calls ( new classical ) a mix between classical and contemporary music and way of singing . One last thing Dimash doesn't give a shit about his vocal range his goal is introducing his culture to the world and bringing in a new style of music . You'll be surprised every time believe me you saw nothing from him yet .

You know you just started a new journey with Dimash, it is impossible to stop listening to him!! Just amazing, he is from Kazakstan, he speeks 3 langages, sings in 12 and he also plays multiple instruments including singing rap, pop, opera. He sang with Lara Fabian (that is wonderfull).
