Totally agree with you, except for "she lost" I know what you mean though, but with this super duet they both won! I confess I didn' t know about her until now, but I'm her fan already and like me she got many new fans, this is what this show brings to participants, this is how I got to know Dimash!
They had so much fun Dimash actually chuckled halfway through the song which we've never seen him do before. It was lovely to see him finally duet with someone he could just let loose with.

I don't think Dimash held back during this performance at all because she had such a powerful voice, and because he didn't have to hold back, you can see how much he was enjoying himself going counter against Chante whose voice was so strong. It was a great and fun duet. Apparently the favorite, a Chinese singer won, and (SPOILER) won the competition.
