If you're wondering how Venide is pronounced: Use a google translator and click on the little Megaphone Icon to hear how its pronounced in Latin (much to my surprise, they pronounced it correctly) the word is attributed to Caesars iconic quote from his swift victories: "Veni Vini Vici" which translates to "I came, i saw, I conquered"
@@armoredcorelore you good, i'm not trying to be a grammar nazi here, if that's how the game pronounced it, then that's fine. It's just i come from a hispanic family so Venide has a familiar pronunciation with those of Latin heritage (spanish, Italians, French and so on) but they mean the same. which just simply means "come from" "come of" or "come to" depending on the context or language that uses it. but it was definitely attributing to Julius Caesar and his victories
@@HeyPachuco Ha ha no, no pachuco I'm not calling you one. To be fair I am quite interested in the pronunciations of these names and words. Take my comment more as if others come looking asking why I say venide like that when it's pronounced this way.
I like how the meeting at the tower is the day each of the leaders of the three factions actually met in one place. There on, Venide would ramp up the militaristic authoritarianism, Men of Honor would be reformed as Sirius Executives, ans the Resistance would be reborn as a new fundamentalist Evergreen Family.
ACL putting me in the 5th Gen cycle again. Every time I watch something about 5th gen I get all "ooh, that's looking fun. I'll give 5 or VD another shot." Only for me to play for 30 min, get fed up and quit for another 6 months.
@@aphidamas1 Ah I know that feeling. I recently watched Jason here on youtube play gundam climax and had to replay. Only to remember how bad I am at it ha ha.

@miragealex8875 No, we aren't. We're just called "mercenary". I have the book, both books in fact, and only the VD protag is called the Lone Mercenary.

Venide reminds me of Caesar's Legion from Fallout New Vegas.
I can see it, mind you at least this Caesars let the ladies of his faction have leadership roles.
Slight correction, the Lone Mercenary is VD's protagonist.
Technically, The lone mercenary is for both gen V protag. They only called them The Dark raven after.
@miragealex8875 No? The Lone Mercenary is only in reference to VD's protag. The DR is just called "that mercenary".
