Excellent. Well done guys !! Bruckner sure loved his brass and boy does it show. This showcases the section more than anything and always sends my sphincter into spasm....
Fantastic! The only thing is that the ideal sound of the trombone is not from three feet in front of the bell. It takes a bit of the "room" to hear all the frequencies coalesce. As good as this is, the sound in the room must have been unbelievable!
Astride his white steed, Alexander the Great surveys the landscape with his captains. In front of him, the rolling plains of Mongolia stretch, boundless and bare. Beyond the tundra lies a mountain range. Alexander points far into the distance with an outstretched arm, turns to his captains, and nods. The rumble of 96,000 lightly-armoured cavalry grow into a deafening roar as they charge across the level terrain into the unknown.
Bruckner and Wagner are the reason why it's worthy picking up trombone and/or tuba.
Don’t forget Mahler!
@@jacobalvarez2224 I was going to say the same. Mahler 2 Finale!
@@jacobalvarez2224 just what I thought
@@jacobalvarez2224 And R. Strauss!
I love watching world-class players! They look like they're doing nothing, but you know it's just because they are so efficient!
Best low brass excerpt from any symphony 🔥gives me chills all the time
The choral in the 5th movement of Mahler's 2nd symphony could also be a worthy candidate
@@larsmunch4536 i am going to play that symphony with my orchestra. I play timpani 2
Nice way to present excerpts - you can still hear the rest of the orchestra.
ONE OF THE GREATEST TUNES IN ALL CLASSICAL MUSIC........It has thrilled me over 55 years.....gives me the chills ...big time !!!!
I love this symphony :). The trombone parts are great in this work.
They should have put the cameras on the end of their slides
Love the harmony gives me goosebumps

This performance is beyond description, unfathomable and full of admiration, tribute and deep emotion
Magnificent! I've always wanted to focus my ears on particular instruments in a symphony. This video is therefore a revelation to me. I'm exstatic'
This is the first time I've heard the Trombone when I was in the 5th grade and fell in love with the Bass Trombone
Lol i could of sworn i saw you in a logan feece live stream a while ago
@@jela2000 I remember that exact live stream!! I saw you there too

It's like the hero-character riding off to war, surrounded by his minions.
"Just" the trombones.. but I start freezing and my hair stand up.. a heavy but wow! symphony..
主さん、素晴らしいものをアップしてくださいましてありがとうございます😊聞いていてこの暑い時にトリ肌が立ちました😂
wish I'd gotten to play some Bruckner back when I still played...

The dislikes must be from the trumpet players who got cut "midriff".
Prachtig Bart, Martin en Nico. wat een perfecte stemming en balans!
That's good balanced sound.
This is now the ringtone on my phone!
Fantastic

We feel better knowing that even players of this caliber don't quite get unison notes perfectly in tune!
Are you sure the minor differences in pitch heard at times are accidental? To me they are just adding to the thrill.
exelent!
Poweeeeeeeeeeeeeer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing, this is super helpful.. thanks so much!!
Martin, hello 👋. Very cool
Beautiful
Nice 👍
Where’s the tuba sitting?! I see right to left 1st, 2nd, Bass, but there can’t possibly be room for a tuba next to the bass...?
C Smith Do you hear a tuba? He might be sick for that rehearsal.
Joshua Schanie I think you can hear tuba in the C major passage in octaves at the end
The tubist is sitting at the left side.
Martin Schippers next to Mr. Claessens? Unusual, but thank you for putting my mind at ease... I had begun to doubt my ears!
If someone is asking why do you play trombone, show him this :D
This should be TUBAS!!
Chops
To be honest, it's not like the horn sound but trombones is the next best thing. 😉👍
lol get out, no horn section ever sounds as phat as this ;)
