Its a smart business move for them to grow their audience. TH-cam is the best way to get discovered, and having the video on rather than just the podcast audio will increase the average video completion rate of new visitors landing on their videos, which is the most important KPI for youtube’s algorithm. Given the quality of their content and insightful takes on all things TV, Im confident they’ll grow their subscriber base super quickly!
For two years, I’ve been listening to you guys on the pod via Spotify,. It was today, via the magic of TH-cam, that I discovered: who I thought was Andy's voice, was actually Chris' and vice versa. We're entering 2025 and my entire world has been turned upside down.
I disagree, unless you’re in your 60’s. I live in Houston. With the right candidate in the right office they are running for. It can happen. Not for the presidential race, so if that’s what you meant. You are right.
I haven't seen people talking about Shoresy and it deserves all the flowers! it's cutting, funny, has a fully formed universe within it, it plays with its characters mercilessly while shining their humanity back to them, it's about hockey but also not. this season was top
Andy and Chris were right on point with my top three picks as well. Although mine would rank 1- Industry, 2 - Shogun, 3 - Ripley. I'm really looking forward to watching Say Nothing.
As a lifelong Thunder fan and eternal loyalist of The Watch.... seeing CR wearing that Thunder beanie means more to me than you'll ever know. Waiting for Andy to pod wearing a Lu Dort jersey with that tenacious Dorture Chamber defense of the Fine Arts.
@ Oh hell yeah, Fly eagles fly baby. I’m also a lifelong Jalen Hurts supporter from his brief OU football days. Gotta draw the line with the 76ers right now tho 🥴🤮 sorry but i can’t endorse Embiid’s process any longer
yo wanted to drop by and share how happy i am to see the watch on youtube! the smug bastards over on big picture and the rewatchables should be shaking in their boots now that they have to compete with the watch.
And it’s finished. Fitting finale. I wonder if the HBO of today would have taken on this show. Show has so much to say, women trying to exist in a man’s world, class, identity, parenting, etc …
34:20 Kaya sighting! Promoted to the main show, nice! She's funny, have her tell more wilderness stories like the "git bear git" or the rattlesnake hike! 36:55 shoutout to i5 commuters! 1:11:00 Taylor Sheridan politics = self-reliance XD 1:29:50 Kaya = champion for Fear the Walking Dead
Great episode.....here's a better "for the people" list: 1. Presummed Innocent ( if you had to watch just one) 2. Shogun (best season to watch once a week) 3. The Agency (better cast) 4. The Diplomat (Quality MVP 2nd Season) 5. Silo (excellent 4k Surround Sound) 6. Three Body Problem (best foward looking pick) 7. Mr & Mrs Smith (Underground Emotions) 8. Sugar (Best Twist) 9. Vince Staples (Underdog pick) 10. The Maddness (Mandatory inclusion) I dare you to make a more edcuated list ...MFers!!
How do you know she's checking email and not checking notes she's written? I'm reminded of the time I got a snarky comment from someone for carrying my phone out in the open while hiking in a remote state park. "Can't stop posting to Facebook?". In fact, I was photographing trail wildlife.
MORE Kaya! She brings a fun twist for CR and Andy. LESS Sheridanverse. I love CR but TS is the most overrated creator. His material is way better in the hands of people with nuance ex. Sicario. The Bear S.3 Ep.1 was like visual ASMR for me loved it. The English Teacher as edgy Abbott was brilliant. Shout out to The Old Man like a Sheridan show but way smarter.
I think what a lot of shows are missing now is having a character or characters that I want to hangout with for 10plus hours. The ghoul was one of the most intriguing characters I’ve seen all year where the penguin tbh honest if I wanted to hang out with that character I’d just watch the sopranos which does it better.
Good list, but your blind spot for non-English language shows is evident. Now that Disney +/HULU/Netflix and even Peacock and Paramount+ have great foreign language TV available, would add such fantastic shows as: Gangnam B Side; The Tyrant; and the spectacular A Shop for Killers....
Did they not watch Baby Reindeer? And I guess they didn’t put Shogun at one because Industry desperately needs all the help finding viewers it can get.
My Brilliant Friend can be hard to watch but it still proves Americans don’t do subtitles. It’s completed. Based on a book that’s number one on NYT 2000s list, high ratings via RAI in Italy, incredible casting, direction, Max Richter score that no one knows. A Gentleman In Moscow One Hundred Years of Solitude Ludwig The French version of High Potential is better than the American version. There are already three seasons and Audrey Fleurot is a bundle of energy.
I weirdly really liked Rings of Power S2. There were genuine improvements and I just find it really entertaining in a cheesy 80/90s fantasy sort of way.
Chris and Andy,,, Being in the Business-- can the Model of Streaming we are enjoying sustain? Is it a peak, on the way to something else? Or a pattern we can count on for a while?-- Jacqueline. Black Doves did something new... Friendship. and Family Life that is not dysfunctional for purposes of the Plot. We do need more Bro/Sis pairs and Friendships that avoid the formula of a HE and a SHE = Sex. Automatically.
@ajwebber if you're into one note shows where each character has the exact same arc every season but has some pretty good acting then it's the show for you
@@NigerianToastCrunch probably Ripley, The Sympathizer, Penguin. Industry has good acting and some fun dialogue but it's way too one note for for me, it's a direct ripoff of Succession minus the laughs(unless you find endless sexual harassment funny) and every character has the same exact arc every season. Literally no differences. Plus it's obnoxious whenever anyone from the Ringer mentions the names of the Industry show runners lol
I know both Andy and Kaya don’t like being on camera, but it is very nice having this on TH-cam finally.
Its a smart business move for them to grow their audience. KAYA!!!
I was wondering who that was...
Kaya and Nathan Fielder! What a show
Thank you to the person who edited and uploaded this video!

so happy The Watch is on video now. my faves!! ❤
Watching Landman has convinced me Texas will not flip blue in my lifetime.
😂😂😂
It hasn't been blue since Ann Richards
I disagree, unless you’re in your 60’s. I live in Houston. With the right candidate in the right office they are running for. It can happen. Not for the presidential race, so if that’s what you meant. You are right.
Kaya is the 🐐, bring her on more often!!!

Love this trio so much
Andy and Chris were right on point with my top three picks as well. Although mine would rank 1- Industry, 2 - Shogun, 3 - Ripley. I'm really looking forward to watching Say Nothing.
Honestly more people needs to get into interview with the vampire, it's a really overlooked show
Lovely to see them all. Adds a lot.

Black doves was shockingly good and very unNetflix like. Definitely a late breaker for me. Ben Whishaw… what an actor… he steals every scene he is in.
Its showrunner Joe Barton was also the showrunner behind the critically acclaimed Japanese/British Crime Thriller Giri/Haji.
Eh it’s ok. I’ve seen better
Good to see Kaya officially being promoted to 3rd chair. Still not a fan of CR’s OKC Hijackers beanie.
Got to the support the team who did The Process right.
My top ten:
1. IWTV s2
2. Mr & Mrs Smith
3. The Penguin
4. Hacks s3
5. Shogun
6. Presumed Innocent
7. Ripley
8. X- Men 97
9. OMITB s4
10. Abbott Elementary s4
Solid top 10!
Kaya's taste is impeccable!!
yo wanted to drop by and share how happy i am to see the watch on youtube! the smug bastards over on big picture and the rewatchables should be shaking in their boots now that they have to compete with the watch.
CR is my GOAT!
Thank you for this video! I wish Fargo got more love, tho. The cast was amazing, and it was a return to form after a disappointing season.
My Brilliant Friend is absolutely the best television show on the air right now.
And it’s finished. Fitting finale. I wonder if the HBO of today would have taken on this show.

Tokoyo Vice is a unhonorable mention
@@kingnick3322 The only other shows missing are peguin, HoftheD, Fallout, True Detective, Agatha, and Xmen 97
awkward timing on the English Teacher love
The Diplomat should at least get an honorable mention.
If you are looking for something different The Devil's Hour is really good, disappointed it can't generate much buzz outside of the UK.
Ansel Elgort was remarkable in "Tokyo Vice" learning to speak Japanese flawlessly .. i too was sad to see it cancelled.
my shows this year is
Shogun, X-Men '97, House of the Dragon, Secret Level, and I guess The Acolyte (cannot really think of any more)
Kaya ❤ first time seeing her, I didn't know what Chris Ryan looked like the first 2 years of the ringer either though
Industry is one of my favourite series. Season 3 is amazing. So exited for season 4 can't wait. I hope season 4 coming end of 2025
For a moment, I thought Sarah Goldberg was you guys’ third chair.
Kaya is giving Chloë Sevigny vibes...
Can we get more time stamps?!??
Kaya casually checking her email while andy and cr riff
How do you know she's checking email and not checking notes she's written? I'm reminded of the time I got a snarky comment from someone for carrying my phone out in the open while hiking in a remote state park. "Can't stop posting to Facebook?". In fact, I was photographing trail wildlife.
No the day of the jackal???? Thats an excellent show
I really dug it
they talked about it a few weeks ago how it didnt work for them

yo! KAYA work badge makes me laugh so hard.
I like that Walmart sponsorship.
Finally!! Still remember when she fought a bear over a tequila bottle
Did they hate Baby Reindeer? Not even mentioning it the whole episode is kinda wild.

Anyone want to summarize all their lists for those of us with very limited time this week…??
:)

A Gentleman In Moscow
One Hundred Years of Solitude
Ludwig

Didn’t know kaya was that fine. Good too know 🙏
Have the guys ever talked about any feedback they've received from creatives whose work they've talked about that they haven't enjoyed?!
This stuff is in super HD
My girl Agatha was robbed
shout out to Dobs's Christmas party

I loved 3 Body Problem. A show to really talk about.
Kaya, an absolute cutie
I thought Kaya was Asian not gonna lie but nice to see them on camera
Kyla deserves a 2x raise just for acting to be interested to some of Andy & Chris's shaggy dog takes.
go watch something else
Hacks at 10 is egregious. Horrible take
Industry #1 is beyond embarassing
For you maybe. It is superb...and getting better year on year.
The most wrong post of the internet today goes to you. Congrats.

Can Kaya say “like” a little bit more? My goodness is it annoying.
there's a long misogynist tradition of criticizing women whose speech is perfectly normal and pleasant, congrats on joining it
Kaya!!!
