Good to see. Hope they keep adding more. Here are my suggestions (THIS IS LONG, but I think there's some good suggestions in here). Please add your ideas and share.
Player Customization
More customization for the create a player (facial features and body styles - fat, skinny, jacked, long legs, short legs, height, weight, etc).
Events
Option to change the number of rounds in events.
Practice
Driving range. Maybe even a Top Golf partnership…
Night range option.
Golfers
Add legends (Nicklaus, Palmer, Trevino, Sneed, Hogan, etc)
Throwback Mode
Vintage golfers, clubs and balls.
Equipment
Equipment (shaft, head ball) that affects ball flight (height, distance and spin, etc).
Retro Equipment.
Animations
More of them and more accurate to the shot result. No fist pumping when 60ft from the hole.
Bend over and pick up the ball after a made putt. D’on’t just stand there like a psycho.
Camera
Create-A-Cam (control zoom, pitch, wide angle, etc).
Keep camera from pre-address view (lower and zoomed in more on golfer - looks awesome). Don’t zoom out and change angle when the golfer addresses the ball. The big close up low angle looks super realistic.
More creative ball flight camera. Close up of ball spinning. Ball gets bigger the closer it gets to the camera. Improved sensation of speed, etc.
Roll cam - sucks. Angle it up more. Less grass more course beauty. More like the hole flyover cam.
Tee Box
Ability to move around in the tee box and position your shot.
Caddies
More caddie customization, or real caddies.
Caddie tips
Caddie yardage book
Hold the pin
Move the bag out of the way
Pull clubs out of bags
Towel off the ball and clubs
Replays
Needed.
Weather/Time of Day
Dynamic weather and time of day (trees swaying, clouds moving, rain).
Course conditions that change with time of day and weather.
Carts/Walking
Would be cool to be able to drive a cart and or walk to your ball.
Range Finder
Ability to use a range finder to pick a target for distance, elevation, etc.
Looks like looking through a range finder in real life.
Lie
More various lie percentages. They’re too good too often.
Fat Shots/Thin Shots
Should be in the game.
On Screen Display
Ability to turn/toggle off for more realism.
Frame-rate
60fps (I know it’s coming)
Driving
Too easy to hit the fairway.
Putting
More stances, more grips styles, putter lengths, etc.
Lip-outs (if not already fixed)
Swing
Option for a much faster swing.
Way more swing types and animations.
Shot Types
Different stances for shot types
Sound
More driver/putter sounds.
“Ooooooooh” sound when a putt is tracking towards the hole.
“Boooooo” when you miss the green on 16 waste management.
Stances
More stances for driving, putting, bunker, flops, fades, draws, etc.
Fans
Fans track and react to ball more/better.

I love your post and I enjoyed reading it. You make some great points. EA seems to be listening to the community which is great and I'm sure we will see some of your suggestions in the game soon.

I'm reallly digging the effort EA has put into the game, really like the fast play feature, the bug fixes, performance fixes (for PC). I think further down the line we'll see changes, the game definitely needs a presentation (cameras), shot-making, a realism overhaul in general. Personal preferance really, I played about 20 rounds so far but so far I could see the game becoming a hybrid of realistic simulator golf/chill laid back effortless game, sort of how naturally EA's FIFA progressed over 15-20, 21-23
Yea I agree the game is showing real promise
You can change the putting to 3 click as well bud, Ive tested them in pro, tour and sim modes, higher up tier you go, the faster the meter, pitch and chip shots are quick as well at times and in certain conditions.

Putting mechanic also uses 3 clock, you have to change the settings separately from your regular shot

Yup like another said. It appears 3 click is there for putting. On your settings underneath the swing mechanic is putting mechanic. You prob can adjust it there.

Hi Lee - hows it going. I think the 3 click is a good introduction to the game, it just depends what you want out of the game. Personally it looks to easy, and there's not much of a challenge, the pointer needs speeding up similar to 2K23. Cya Doug

the game was tremendous...I hope this didn't start making things too easy because complainers just can't play the game as intended. It's ok for some, but it looks extremely slow and too easy. I love a challenging golf sim, and that's what this was. Hopefully they will tune things to be a little more difficult instead of the opposite. I like the regulars swing stick and will keep it. How does hitting a button 3 times looking at a slow meter feel like golf?
Hopefully 3 click players can't compete in analogue swing tournaments
That's what I'm saying. I made this comment in another review and dude was like kinda offended that I wasn't a fan of the 3 click, it basically takes away the point of the game
Dude, Can you please explain about R3 button move for"High" "Low" "Fade" and etc.I am confuse for using it.
If you move the R3 stick up it will increase the loft on the ball, if you move the R3 stick down it will deloft the ball giving it a lower ball flight. If you move the R3 stick left it will apply fade. If you move the R3 stick right it will apply draw to your shot
You can set putting to 3 click too….but you didn’t ….that is why you can still have analogue swing for putting still

It was easy but fun
This could be a Godsend as I jyst can't seem to pull back/push forward the swing stick in a straight line.

You forgot to turn on the separate swing mechanic for putting, you left it on analog setting. it was the second option down.

So, can you do all this with a mouse on a PC, or do you need to use a controller? This is a make-or-break for me. I won't use a controller.

Its very difficult to implement with the RS. Its better with it turned off.

@@Early1981 Yes and i fixed it. I mod the game and that caused the issue. But I worked out how to fix it.
Is the meter faster on tour difficulty
Yes quite a bit faster
@@Willemguitar I mean the speed of it at least makes it harder than how it moves here which is as slow as a clock. Analog stick much better it feels natural to use for a golf swing and adds challenge
Why can't they just replicate the 3-click system from the original megadrive games. It was just the right speed to require complete focus, and if you mis-timed it slightly you'd be off the fairway/green. Despite all the fancy graphics the gameplay 30 years on is still not as good.

I'm old and I haven't bought a console since the X-Box 360 and the Wii. Are modern sport games as bad as everyone online seems to whine about? I know the PS2 era had gems across the board as well as 360 for me. Heck! I still love some of the more basic Commodore 64 and SNES/Genesis sport games but I'm thinking of grabbing a PS5 for this and MLB and hoping NHL 24 is good.

@@dannynhl9441 It's the content and how much is left out that people complain about, hehe like myself. It just better caters to the occasional amateur and not the legacy gamers who can grind through the, Mr. Danny I really suggest you test out sports games before making a purchase. I'm on PC, so unfortunately I cannot tell you much about NHL, but I had the chance to play MLB The Show on Game Pass and it was hit and miss for me, sort of like PGA Tour, Madden, NBA, etc..

Top Spin 4, Fight Night 3, MVP Baseball 2005, NHL 14, Fifa 10 and 13, Winning Eleven 7-9 I could keep going. Just that mid 2000's Xbox, PS2 had great sport games and then we eventually got them on the 360 and PS3.
I keep wanting to jump into the new scene but part of me keeps saying just get a VR headset for fun and watch/play it yourself on tv and outside haha
@@dannynhl9441 I feel the same way about the early 2000s games scene. There just isn't so much as a drop of water in the ocean when comparing THOSE days to today's games. That's relevant to all genres of games, retrospectively. Well either way, I hope you enjoy vr, and like I said, test the games before putting down the money for it.
I remember trying the three click in 2k23 and I was actually so dang annoyed with it that instead I just learned the stick mechanic instead. People dont like to hear this, but I actually think 3 click can be tougher than the stick.
The 2k 3 click is horrendous. EAs is perfect.

I certainly felt I had more control of the ball
The stick swing mechanics are terrible. I am always slow no matter how I move the stick. The 3 click would be a game changer. Thanks for the video.

3 click swing is for the low IQ players. Its literally too easy now.
I think lower IQ players is a bit harsh 🤣 maybe for the more casual player is a better way of putting it. I'm away to upload 3 click on the hardest Difficulty setting and it's tough. Stay tuned

€70 for the standard game. No course designer or extra's. Pay for all add ons. Stilted wooden models with abysmal animations. This sounds suspiciously like an EA sponsored review.
Save your money and get the infinitely superior The Golf Club 2019 + course designer and thousands of great 3rd party courses for about €5 OR get ripped of by EA for this crapfest.
