- Today I am going to show you how to upgrade your Golfer in EA Sports PGA Tour Golf 2023.... FAST!
When you first start out it can be tricky, but once you understand what to do, it couldn't be simpler!

I have one level 49 and one level 35. If you are running a tour comp and an arcade comp like i am my best suggestion is using challenges for major fast boosts in xp. If a challenge requires 10 but has xp boosts, play 9 with your high level character and finish the 10th challenge with your lower level character. Your lower level character will then get the xp boost. Its slightly faster than just running tournys

Just another one to add when you have enough coins ... go to the store and buy the xp boost pack for 2000 coins then play normal rounds gives a massive boost for 1 hour i was getting around 45,000 xp for 1 round if youre fast you can squeeze 2 rounds in.

Great help for me, just bought a PlayStation 5 slim disc version,lm a pensioner so this is all new to me, so more like this please, keep it simple ie l don't know yet how to make my player design wise l mean lol
Very helpful, should help with the frustration caused by not knowing how to progress and enjoy the game.
For the daily online tournaments, you can generally win them if you birdie every hole or birdie 3 out of the 4 holes. That depends on the hole selection.
Yeah that's right, but even if you are say in 20% its not bad payouts at all!

I don't have a video on the draws and fades unfortunately I'm just getting to using them more consistently. And I'm getting used to which clubs to use in terms of distances etc.

is there a minimum rating you would recommend to do weekly tournaments or is it still worth doing with a lower rated golfer?
EDIT: my thought process of maybe not starting them early is to save tickets, but i don’t know if it’s still more worth doing them early
Ive done it for a while, but, give it a go with the first one and see where your games at. I think you will get some tokens through stuff you unlock anyway

When you say play a round of just normal stroke play golf and you are talking about that 1000 XP per hole I believe you said or even per round, my question is do you have to use your created golfer in order to get the XP or can you use any golfer? I apologize if it’s a stupid question in advance.
I don't actually know off the top of my head..... Id assume it's assigned to the profile and not the player, so you might be ok! Let me know if you get an answer
@@stgrimmy1692 so I did try it and it’s definitely NOT account wide. You need to play with the created golfer in order to get the XP.
Hi I have been watching your video on how to earn skills and spec, I have now reached level 50 which is the limit on the game is it still possible to gain skill point now I have reach the top level ?

What are the green coins at the top right? How do you get them?
If I remember rightly I think it's the currency for entering online tournaments etc.
Correction* Ea doesn’t make the best careers modes, they just finally made a good one for this game. Wouldn’t be surprised if the pga tour had a big influence in this game and the money they put into it due to LIV
They made a good one because they had to compete with another company
4:47 it shows you have 1300 points not collected. I have the exact same but don't know how to collect. Can you help, please? New sub. Btw this game is more addictive than crack.
If I remember correctly there should be a rewards tab, but I got stuck on it too!

Thanks for vid! But I believe you gave misleading advice. You should 100% start with challenges, NOT quick play... The challenges rewards are 10k 5k 5k and teaches the basic of golf, and they are much quicker. Most of the times it's 5 shots to complete.
The reason I went with playing normal rounds first, is to get used to gameplay and to unlock xp which gets you skill points to help get your players skill level up.
No other videos help more than yours. Wow.

Is there a way to restart my career
Not 100% sure, only way to do it would be to make a new character, I think
I’ve got the game on super easy and I’m still awful. It’s not fun. I don’t want it to be just as hard as real golf
How can you get better a putting
Main thing for me was using the lower camera as it helped me read the movement better!
Decent tips but do not use your skill points like this. My man is almost max level and doesn’t even have a single gold shot type
I don't know how many gold shots I have to be honest! Any particular areas you would suggest to focus Jake?
@@stgrimmy1692 if you look at the little badges on the skills tab they are bronze, silver and gold. I’d probably respec a couple out of putting and a couple out of recovery on short game and approach, then use them points to unlock the higher level shots instead
My game only has quick play. No career mode no customize golfer
Is it fully dowlot?
Console needs to be online if your not online you're not connected to the EA servers therefore unable to play the full game
I've been fairly decent at golf games in the past. This one kicks my butt so bad lol. Frustrating
No play career so you get xp + the equipment specs...by your words you haven't played 100's of hours, I have
You get xp on every hole you play.... career, single, online etc. And I did mention in the video to get to 81 I've played 15 hours. So it doesn't take too long.

Even par in tournaments will not be top 50, probably ranked in the top 500, top 50 wouldn't get 5 tickets
also when you have 6 attributes coins like you do you level up faster than not apply them
AND don't buy tickets...earn them
I'm not worrying about any of this. My rating is already almost 80 and my character doesn't suck or anything. I have more fun upgrading slowly anyway. Makes it more of a challenge when your character isn't maxed out with all the perks.
Where does it show your overall rating?
If you go into the player editor or even just the play now and go through course to player selection it should show you there

In the main menu if you hit RB/R1 you should be able to scroll through to a rewards option
