Great video. One more comment that he forgot to mention is that the camshaft gears also have an alignment marker on the back side. I haven't seen anyone talking how to adjust these, but you can see on this video how it is done by looking at the front side of the gears. If you align them like this video the markers on the back also face straight along with the flat position of the cams

This is an N63, not S63 motor. The S63 is from M5 or X5M.

That is not an S63. It is a N63.

It's not N63 regular. I know because I have one tore apart in my garage right now. F07 2010 BMW 550i GT. Valve stem seals.

Did you really have to take the whole engine out to do this job????? I would love to see someone do it while the engine in the car because I need to do mines. I don’t have the equipment to take the whole engine out.

No engine stand...? Just balanced on a tyre...? No mention that the camshafts are worn and scored. Does not inspire any confidence. People with expensive cars avoid Automedics Auto Care...!!!
