I worked on an offshore rig in Arabian Sea. We had to face Taukte Cyclone in May 2021. 200 people got drowned in sea out of which 120 was saved by Indian Navy. My respect has grown for Indian Navy since that day. We go to sea with the belief that Indian Navy is behind us. That day trust was instilled in us. When every boat in sea was scrambling for run for ports at that time Indian Navy Boats got out of from ports in open Sea. What a scary day it was. What a daring by Navy to save citizens. Any one would have called that as Madness. Thanks to Indian Navy. ❤Bravo Indian Navy. We are proud of you. ❤
Thank you for making a podcast on Navy Day. We often ignore the importance of Navy. Thanks for making this ravi sir and charisma of the guest is so impressive
❤ Keep it sir 💐🙏
Fantastic podcast! The presentation is top-notch, and the information shared by the officer was incredibly insightful and valuable. Keep up the great work!
Kudos to you for bringing the champions. Commodor Anil Jai Singh is a very knowledgeable person and a pure professional. Its is such a pleasure to listen to the gentleman. Kudos to you for asking such apt questions.👏👏
Wow, from Oct 1982 to 1999 Sir was serving on submarine and was doing one of the most difficult job on planet. Even then look at his smile, his smile says he is still willing to go back inside. Such people are real unsung heros who work away from limelight and without getting any recognitions. Not even him but i believe Sir's family was also serving parallely indirectly. It becomes very difficult to manage home, if head of family is not available but such heros manage all this. Thankyou Ravi sir for bringing such dignitaries on your show. No other channel has brought any such officer's so far. Thanks again cheers.😊😊🙏🙏
US aircraft US Enterprises & UK aircraft Eagle did not come to Bay of Bengal in 1971 as they were threatened & warned by USSR, which that time had a nuclear aircrafts & were a defence partner of India.
You are partly correct. The Soviets dispatched a Nuclear powered submarine flotilla towards the Bay of Bengal which acted as a deterrent to the Americans . That is why they turned around and went back
Thank you brother.after hearing this one thing i realise what a miniscule life i am living without any purpose. Its an eye opening conversation. Thank you once again. ❤

One correction. 7 th Fleet returned back because USSR sent a Nuclear Submarine in Bay of Bengal to block 7th Fleet. USSR came in rescue of the Indian Navy from the 7th Fleet.
Nice podcast but with due respect to distinguished guest and sharp podcaster, one little point I’d like to add that during US Navy’s intervention in the Bay of Bengal in 1971, it was Russian Navy who had supported us by diverting their submarine fleet to counter the threat, that’s what I’ve read and learned from multiple sources.
The first ship to hit was PNS Khyber, then PNS Muhafiz,PNS Shah Jahan was damaged beyond repair. The last ship to be hit was Venus Challenger a merchant Navy ship bringing in armaments for Pakistan.

Jai hind sir
US 7th fleet returned because they saw russian nuclear subs in support to Indian navy in Indian Ocean
Behind USS enterprise, USSR nuclear Submarine had also arrived to challenge Americans!
In 1985 I was asked this question for Indian Navy: what's required for India?
I replied 'Second Strike attack'!😂😂😂it was now it is success!😂😂
