IIT’s is a place where we can control the inputs l, cause it can directly talk to central departments. The quality of engg. Is better there. I asked the same question to a scientist who was part of Pruthvi missile team, he was one of the earlier member’s of the scientific community that gave us the missile technology. As an answer he said we need to reach out to every college. But, I myself realised the answer later that many of the grads are pretty crap. Sorry to say this, but it is a fact.
