  • Tracer 700 [MT-07 Tracer] is Yamaha’s entry-level to the sport-touring segment. Based on the popular MT-07 naked, it features an upright riding position, a small but efficient fairing, a larger fuel tank and a longer wheelbase for increased stability at higher speed.
    The Yamaha Tracer 700 is powered by the same 700 cc inline-twin engine we already know from the MT-07 and the XSR 700. With a 196 kg wet weight, it’s the lightest bike in its class and it has a quite engaging power-to-weight ratio.
    The whole package comes with an attractive price - around €7.900.
    Yamaha MT-07 had a huge market success across Europe because its high fun factor at a low price. But we think the Tracer 700 is even better.

    Probably the best 5 minute(ish) review I've seen. You give a lot of useful, informed opinions during that time. Good production too. Thank you!

    No specs on the sheep?! Ha ha! I'm really impressed with the production values on the channel, guys!

    I love the accent and the review. You never threw in bias by models sold by high end producers. It's about capability and cost, not absolute capability!

    Viewer from the USA here. Yamaha definitely needs to import this thing as an FJ-07. The FZ-07 has been selling in bag-fulls over here and I cannot see that this Tracer would have any downsizes, other than perhaps a tad less hooligan. A little bit more weight, but longer fuel range, more stability, a little wind protection, greater leg room and arm comfort/control, and no sacrifice in power. It's like 90% pluses and maybe 10% minuses when compared to it's FZ/MT brother.
    Please Yamaha, if you're reading this, bring that FJ-07 over here.
    Oh, and put the T7 into production and import that too.

    good review. took this bike out to test twice now. I am 6ft 4 and still found it comfy and the screen did a good job of deflecting the wind even at my height.

      @diegor4341 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm glad to see your commentary David, because I'm 6'1" and I'm a little worried if the bike will be comfortable enough; did you have to bend your legs too much ?, because this pays a toll on the knees.
      Anyway the bike hasn't arrived at my country yet.

      I have not taken it out for more than half an hour buy even at my height it was very comfortable and not to cramped up at all.

    Surprised that the windscreen is actually decent? I looked at it, and the first thing I thought was, useless. Love your reviews, and love seeing the your country's beautiful landscape!

    Always wondered how my E1 yellow helmet would look on this bike - wondering if I should trade it in for a red/white colourscheme instead but couldn't find any examples until now, haha.

    The bike got some weak ass windscreen and hand guard should be standard on any touring bike. Not center stand? even more stingy. you can almost modify your MT 07 to this bike

    • @RyaNewGame
      @RyaNewGame 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I woud modify the tracer to look like an MT 07, don't like the bikini fairings they put on, but like the bigger fuel tank and higher speed stability, bigger seat, better for a pillion

      Hello. If you refer to the 1:32 passage, it was inline twin. :) Maybe it's not the best pronunciation, but it was "twin". Best regards, Cristian.
