Man, I love this song… it remindes me of when I was 16/17, lighting camp fires on the beach, smoking funny things, drinking beer and wine, sometimes wihiskey or vodka, singing along my friends playing guitar, and kissing and hugiging pretty summer passions….
You made my wife’s night. She loves that song. Noticed that you don’t include the hammer notes during every strum pattern so it kinda confused me at first. I also noticed the accent notes you added with the C chord after watching and will try that. Looks like fun just being a beginner. I enjoy the lessons very much. If you every get someone to zoom in to see the fingers on the fret it would help and slow it down a little more in the beginning it would be great. Thanks for sharing!

My voice isn’t even as good as yours and I’m most comfortable singing to songs in G. I’m posting this comment under this song because my request is basically the same song but different lyrics. I think it would be awesome to post a video playing Warewolves in London by Warren Zevon. Same basic feel as summertime in northern Michigan but oh what a groove! Perfect party guitar song in G. Here is my biggest struggle. Remembering all the lyrics to these songs. I'm good for about half the song, then I need a cheat sheet, which is less than impressive when playing for ppl. Got any tricks?

most single players and bands as well use a tablet with the lyrics and chord changes. Playing until 2 A.M you need something like this or hand wright it out with chord changes, this will help you remember, your recall memory will kick in...GOOD LUCK... MICK-E-B

Hey man I hear you I understand what you mean by the strumming pattern but let me tell you something dance with it man put a dance in your right hand and feel the music don't think too much on Straumann Just Dance with it it gives you your Rhythm if you can figure out how to Just Dance You Got Rhythm in your hand just do it

Is it not a full G? Looks a lil like your playing the top E and bottom E?
The full g is easier if you're using Cadd9, but the "pinky g" is easier if you're transitioning to a regular c. At least imo

Honestly great cover , my issue is with the Kids version using the word " Things " to rhyme with itself , sure it works..... lol.... and made him millions but ... just seems wrong as far as creativity , like sayin yo ,yo, yo, as filler when a talented player or vocalist could add a real fill .
