I'm an old fart, I'm 45 and I want to learn how to play. It's something I've wanted to do my whole life and would like to before my time runs out. Lol. What advice would you give an older beginner.

Finally. Someone taking the time to tell me how to make the chords that go along with the tutorial. And explains why I’m having so much trouble learning any chords. I thought people were giving me different ways to play the same chords. I need to learn the easy ways! Thank you for sharing this with us!

Steve ,you are a real good teacher. I started playing guitar in 1968, I was 9. I tripped across your site one day and watched. I still look you up couple times a week to see what your class is doing. I wish when I was a kid, (obviously no computer) I could have taken lessons from the likes of you. You seem patient and happy , that makes all the difference in the world.Keep up the great work. Today's youth needs to have hobbies such as music, you make look fun , and that is inviting.

❤ thank you so much Steve for sharing your gift to the world... I've been watching your videos and learn along while watching... It's amazing how 3chrds, can play so many different song's. I've been practising for 2m months now and I'm playing and singing songs already. I'm far from where I want to get to but I am still very greatfull for your kindness and generosity for sharing your knowledge and talent for the free of cost. Millions of people in this world are interested in playing guitar but can't afford guitar lessons. Once again from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much ❤. God Bless you.❤

Simplicity and straight forward, less technical talks. One of the BEST, thank you Steve. Looking forward for your strumming and plucking tutoring.

These three chords are the first I was taught back in the sixties. And they have stayed with me for all these years. Thanks for sharing your music 🎶. I’ll be putting them back to use practicing these songs.

Steve. This is excellent advice. When I started taking lessons, my guitar teacher would do similar things. If he wanted to teach me a chord or two, he would record it using a drum track. I would practice all week until I could do the changes on time. It was a real fun way of learning, and kept me interested. Thanks for all you do. I appreciate it🙂
