As if the mountains🏔weren’t stunning enough they had to build a cute little European-like village in the middle of it🏰 Would you visit this 4000 acre European-like ski resort?🙌
When you do, remember to check out the waterfalls at Wells Gray Provincial Park, there are 3 of them about an hour and a half away, they are just spectacular, totally worth it.
We loved the video and the watch party! Can wait to see the next video. We did dog sledding near Quebec a couple years ago. It's freezing but really nice experience
Great video guys--well done and I will be sure to visit Sun Peaks soon. Just to help you out a bit: Canadians never say "negative 3" for the temperature- we always say "its plus 3 or minus 3" Also minus 3 of course is NOT cold--please!! this is Canada. The best skiing is between -6 and -15 warmer than that and its spring skiing (March or April) I have skied in Banff at -35. it was great! The other important thing you missed is the connection between Sun Peaks and Whistler. Nancy Greene Raine is one of Canada's greatest Olympic champions when won gold and silver at the 1968 Olympics in Grenoble France. After retirement she and her husband moved to Whistler and began designing the big huge resort it is today. In the nineties they moved to Sun Peaks and started designing this little hill into the great resort it is today. You think it resembles Whistler? of course it does--its designed by the same people. And Nancy Greene is the Director of Skiing and her husband Al Raine is the Mayor of Sun Peaks.
What are some of your favorite places to visit around Seattle? Some of my fave places you could explore in Vancouver (if you haven't been yet!) are: Lynn Canyon suspension bridge, Ambleside park and the West Van sea wall (you can spot seals hanging around the fisherman's bait at the John Lawson Park pier!), the beautiful seaside Whytecliff park, Aberdeen Centre, Iona Beach Regional Park, and Steveston Village in Richmond, Crescent Beach in Surrey, the trails along the Alouette River in Pitt Meadows, and... kayaking at Deep Cove would be amazing!
Wow we certainly need to explore more of BC😅 We only recognize a fraction of your suggestions. Thanks for all the recommendations! We'll put it in our planner. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of vlogs covering Seattle. But whenever we're there, we always visit the Pike Place area 😊and ofcourse Jollibee! 🇵🇭
@@NatandMax Oh good! Glad to give you some new Vancouver ideas! Of course I didn't even touch the food genre... haha. Aberdeen Centre has an amazing two story Daiso Japan btw! We'll need to check out Jollibee! Our fave places here are probably Snoqualmie Falls and the Twin Falls trail near North Bend. Oh ya, and Washington Park in Anacortes is really beautiful.
Oh yes we’ve been to Aberdeen Centre a few times. Max loves going in each and every shops there 😅 I think the Japanese store you are referring to is called Oomomo, we also love that one! 🙌 We just wrote down all of your suggestions. Looking forward to visiting and doing them all🙌
It was a little scary tbh😅 there were no street lights for about half an hour. But if there are other cars you kinda feel a bit okay😊 It’s fine if you take it nice and slow
Love to see this is getting recognition it deserves. I am related to the owner of this resort his name is Sergei scurfield I would love to be able to visit their soon!
You are confusing Sun Peaks with Sunshine Village in Alberta and recently renamed Banff-Sunshine and owned by the Scurfield family. Sun Peaks is owned by Nippon Cable of Japan.
Oh ok didn't see that 🙂 We visited last year and really enjoyed ourselves. Even the drive there is so scenic. Hope you had a chance to make a day trip to Wells Gray National Park to check out the 3 stunning waterfalls there, if not it's worth another trip just for that.
