    You can wade across the lake from Haynes point. Used to be campgrounds across from the point.

    fantastic video on Osoyoos! I can’t believe you were there during the heatdome. I just put up a video on Osoyoos as well, but it was from the spring so it wasn’t as hot. great tips on the hotels, It’s definitely a town you book ahead. Glad you enjoyed it! It’s a wonderful place. great content! just subbed to your channel 👍🏽

    Great video you guys!!!
    That straw hat max was wearing really suits her. She looked so exotic. She really pulled off the look 😀

      Thanks Vadim😅 The hat was really needed because of the extreme UVs of the sun that day😅 Thanks for watching!

    This was amazing and brave! I hope you all are okay! I had no idea there was a dessert in BC! I was definitely familiar with the sacred lakes. I watch a documentary series on APTN about First Nations sacred lands and they featured it last weekend! I believe they said there are exactly 365 of the little lakes and are reported to hold healing energy! I started following your IG but was wondering if you have a website/blog as well?!

    • @NatandMax
      @NatandMax  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We’re okay😊 It was just hard staying under the sun long.
      Yea we debated if we should fly our drone over the spotted lake which one of the protected lakes by the first nation. We decided to just respect it and just film by the gates😊
      We have a website!🙌 natandmax.co/
      The blog is still under development😊

    You guys really should incorporate TIME STAMPS in your videos! SOME of us are doing RESEARCH projects who don't have all the time in the world on our hands, and would really appreciate it!

      Thanks for the feedback! Happy to say we have been adding that to recent videos and will continue to do so on future videos.

    No need to wear masks when nobody is around you ( when unloading luggage, for example )

    My summer home is here, you missed trying the Cholula ice cream, you said you like spicy.
    Come in 2023 and 2024 and the vineyards are dead, due to Jan. cold snaps, a peach in 2024 will probably sell at auction if you can find one, my starting bid is 5K. Seriously no peaches this year.

    There are very few jobs around Osoyoos, not so good for younger people but since half the town seems to be ' older ' but I guess it's great for retirees. It's a beautiful part of the world though.

    Hate to break it to you… and much love for you Osoyoss, but Lytton bc holds the record, and sadly burnt down in the process of holding it. Osoyoss is the sixth hottest in Canada.

    Omg you guys went to a dessert during the heat wave!!!! Good thing you guys survived that, I could barely survive being in the house 🤣. Awesome video as always! 👍🏻

    • @NatandMax
      @NatandMax  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha yea😂 We didn’t anticipate a record breaking heat wave when we were planning for our trip😅 Thanks for watching!❤️

    Try Lytton. No big lake to cool you off!

    Suggestion: Another large desert centre is at Spirit Ridge winery & resort, the Nk’Mip Desert cultural Centre. Lastly there is another beautiful beach area to see, at the Walnut Beach Resort

    • @NatandMax

    You seem to like ice cream shops. Next time you’re in Penticton or especially when in Oliver, stop at Tickelberry’s

    • @NatandMax
      @NatandMax  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Michael! We had Tickelberry's on our list but didn't have enough time to make it during this visit. We'll for sure try to visit them when we're in the area again😊

    Not "only" desert in Canada, there is also one in Yukon (Carcross Desert)

    • @carboncomplex
      @carboncomplex 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Carcross Desert is called a desert but it is not a desert it just looks like a desert - it is just sand dunes from a glacier .
