Yes, most critical stage omitted, removing fork tube. Impacting the lower bushing onto the upper to remove the main seal isn't tidy unless the bushings are sacrificial. Can you please explain how you did it?
@@jaydenfitzgerald7495 found the snap ring buried under years of dirt and grease. Once I removed the snap ring the two half’s were fairly easy to remove.
@@robertferrin9532 I found the snap ring was pushed slightly down into the o-ring making it hard to see. Had to push the o-ring back down exposing the snap ring. Once I removed the snap ring the two haves pulled apart.

Just curious, what size pipe did you use? I'm about to do my fork seals as well. Great video!
I should have measured… dummy me. It looks to be 1.5” maybe?
1.5 doesn’t tell us anything on the pipe size what is the ID and OD of the pipe you used??
It comes in pvc pipe too, that’s what I had. The real thin stuff, only about 2mm thick. I measured 1.5 inch OD.
What type of oil was used!?
Add fork boots absolutely needed or can u ride without it or put like seal savers on it instead
Yea you can put seal savers or the tusk covers on. You don’t have to have the boots but I think they look cool like it came from the factory.
@@diyhvacguy Ok thanks man
I hope to one day ride that amazing piece of machinery!!! 😆
AGAIN
😂 Well I did fix the seals just for you Haha
Who did you order your 150F seals from?? Any links
No specialty tools required. but your going to need a random pipe at who knows what diameter. ahahha. good stuff man..!
I can get the exact size of that pipe I used for you
@@wasatchmotoco Nah its all good man. just messen with ya
Link to the light ??
You skipped over pulling the chromed fork upper out of the lower leg after removing the bottom bolt. That's where I'm stuck on mine
Did you figure it out?
Same
Same, am I missing something simple?
Still have no clue how to remove the upper from the lower. It does not slide out and this video skipped over that step???

Same I can’t figure that out either
