You guys picked this one just for me, didn’t you?😜 It’s hilarious to watch these launch on a drag strip, especially with power mods because you can literally see the wheel hop from the side lmao
i have been drooling over this car for so long, watch this video almost religiously. praying i can get one someday soon before they're all driven apart
i had the regular version of this car back in college (with the 2.0 Ford motor before skyactiv). it was pretty gutless but fun to drive. Definitely wish i had this one though!
Love mine. Been great to me for 5 years. Tuned and modded pushing 21 PSI reliably the whole time. I will be sad when the time comes for something different.
I bought a 2013 almost two years ago with a bnr turbo 22psi(little bit bigger than stock), intake, exhaust. It's so much fun and been a great daily. Definitely gives v8s a run for their money
She babied it all these years and then handed it over to you two? On a serious note, what twisted logic has resulted in manufacturers making cars smaller?
Hah! Babied doesn't mean driven like a grandma! But yeah I totally agree, almost every car has gotten bigger over the years...except the back seat of the Mazda 3.
@@DailyMotor The TNGA Corolla shrunk substantially and the 'cool' new Prius has been 'slammed' with a 2 inch drop in height. The premium flagship Crown is smaller inside than the Camry for gawd sake. Speaking of Camrys..................

Keep it! you will regret it. I almost traded mine in for a 2016 WRX but coudnt bring myself to do it lol

How much power were you making?
@@Kenithh was probably around 320-330whp on 93.
I still have it with a e30 tune now. Around 360whp 380tq based on other cars with this setup
i have a 2.5 manual and it is still pretty quick id say
Where can a get that carpet for the hatch, been trying to get that one that says Mazdaspeed
Great looking car. I thought you had a typo calling it a 2013 model.
16:00 they re just as fun even with 100 hp
This thing walks my Miata ND, such a underrated hatch😅
The interior is so similar to the US Focus ST, it's nuts. And factory LSD, better car or what?
This is the one that Doug reviewed as well?
We shot this well before Daddy Doug got his aardvark paws on one.
@@DailyMotor I don't think you are being very fair to aardvarks.
Doug's car has silver wheels. This one has dark wheels. Prob not the same car

@@DailyMotor I scrolled through dozens of comments, is there a mpg figure buried somewhere?
@@rightlanehog3151 I'm just pointing out that we can rent that one to test it for mpg.
My 2013 mazdaspeed has heated seats
I love cars with more torque than hp but doesn’t like diesels sounds like a hypocrite
