Usually better image quality and controlled focus breathing when rack focusing. Declicked aperture and longer focus throw for more precise focusing is also a factor. He pretty much covers every benefit in this video.
Optics wise, very similar. If you are looking at Chinese manual lenses, Sirui is also a good option, in my opinion, slightly better built and the cream would be Laowa, as they are the best in Chines optics design at the moment, second is Viltrox.

How would you adapt these lenses to a super 35 sensor lens like the bcmpp 6k
You can't adapt it to EF mount.
