That hot tub motor is much quieter than my large shop vac. If the 5 gal bucket fills up will the dust end up getting ingested into the blower? Not a problem when using a shop vac. I've never seen a clear 5 gallon bucket, have you? If it was clear one could monitor the level. You two are a great team. Will there be any boat repair videos in the near future? Thanks!
Yet to be seeing how the pump will react to dust. We thought about a foam insert before the pump. Never have seen a clear bucket. That would be great! No boat repair videos. If I lived closer to Danny there certainly would be!
I wonder what would happen if the hot tub motor was inserted between the Cen-Tec unit and a shop vac. Do you think it would increase the suction on the vacuum? What is the hp on the blower motor? My shop vac is 6 hp. Is that motor so powerful that I could dispense with the shop vac altogether?
The concept is that this would replace the need for a shop vac. I’m not sure of the hp on the motor. I’ll call my brother and let you know, if he can find it printed on the motor.

My brother checked the blower motor. It doesn’t list the horse power.
A new blower motor is 1.1 hp. That may give you some idea.
