      Bully ball and defense travels. Its analogous to a smashmouth football teams that runs heavy and plays D...very hard to beat. The LAL keep you at bay once they get the lead with steady 4-5 yard runs by getting easy looks at the rim with LBJ/AD. When its 3rd/4th and 1, they have 2 back who can get that yard by getting close to the rim. The 50 yard bomb doesn't help when you need a yard (GSW). Although sometimes inconsistent, they aren't that bad of a 3pt shooting team now. They force contact and get into the bonus where they are now an excellent FT shooting team since they got rid of RW. They play D and turn those stops into easy transition buckets/more fouls, which is essentially their "3pt shot," rinse & repeat. Genius plan. And its exactly the same recipe they had in the Bubble.

    If they face the Celtics in the finals and beat them, this will tie 2016 championship due to the fact he broke the scoring title, had a 7th seed win the finals, first team in the play-in format to ever win a chip because I don’t think that going to happen again any time soon, and most of all he got the lakers to increase the ring count while beating an historic rival franchise.

Someone might come back from 3-1 in the finals again. But to have the all time scoring record and win a championship the same year; 20 years in, out of the playoffs, had to win a play in game to make the playoffs, 7 seed upset 2 seed, 7 seed upset the 6 seed warriors and current champions, potentially upset the 1 seed, and Boston (a 2 seed) if they face them as well.. This championship run will never be topped. Bron would not have Home court advantage in ANY SERIES THIS YEAR!! 🤯

    Most impressive? Yes because it’s the least expected from start to finish of the season. That is by definition the most impressive because of difficulty.
    But GREATEST in his career? No because the impact of this ring would be little to nothing. It would actually be the least important ring of his career. His most important ring, his greatest one, would be 15-16 season by far.
    But even his first ring with the Lakers is more important because it showed that Lebron could go anywhere and win a ring. Even out of his prime.
    His first ring with Miami is by far more important for obvious reasons. And then his 2nd ring with Miami because it proved the first one wasn’t a fluke (which was necessary due to his terrible finals performance the season prior).
    This ring for people who have Jordan as the GOAT, will not change their opinion. So the impact is negligible.

    • @haywood0457
      @haywood0457 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You make solid points. I do think a ring this years would have a bigger impact than you suggest for the fact that he's 38 years old. And although he might not be the best player on his team, he is clearly the leader, is easily the most consistent, and could be the best player if he asserts himself. I also think a W this year would sway some who said they wouldn't be swayed.

    • @anklesthedragon
      @anklesthedragon ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@haywood0457 That just makes it the most impressive. The impact of this on his career is what exactly? To prove his longevity or he is always the leader of his teams? Those are already well proven. Really the only thing his career can gain at this point is undeniably the GOAT. And this isn’t changing MJ supporters’ minds because he still has less rings and they will always say 6/6 is better than whatever Lebron can do at this point.

    • @gamechanger114
      @gamechanger114 ปีที่แล้ว

      So, since Lebron surpassed expectations once again by beating the #2 seed and Steph, does he now go up higher in his rankings? And, does Steph now drop in his rankings? Alot of these media personalities are 100% biased agaisnt Lebron. Like, how is guy that has literally most impressive individual NBA accolades already going to be replaced on Mount Rushmore by Steph. If Lebron was Steph, they be saying he's about Top 25-30 All-time now lol, but since he's Steph nobody cares that he lost. They'll just quietly stop talking about him till he's playing well again and in a winning situation if that ever even happens again... Lebron been the GOAT since 2016. And, he's done so much more since then, media just keeps pushing the goal post everytime he surpasses expectations and does the impossible... Notice how Stephan A was quick to highlight a self-inflicted ejection/1 game suspension by Draymond. And a weak injury to Iguadala who still was healthy enough to play in all 7 games that series averaging 34min and a whopping 9pts. Imagine trying to diminish that championship coming back down 3-1 vs a 73-9 Warriors team but then pretending like in 2015 When Love was out the "entire series" and Kyrie couldn't even finish game 1 before going down the rest of that series too. Somehow media is okay with adding that to Steph's resume and counting that as a true/fair loss for Lebron. Steph was so underwhelming that series they decided to give Finals MVP to Iguadala. Lebron the only Superstar to get nitpick like this at any point in his career even at age 38. Even with MJ most media just pretends his days with the Wizards don't when he was still only in year 14 and 15. To put that into context Steph is currently in year 14 and still in his prime and truly one of the best players in the league. KD is in year 16 and still truly one of the best players in the league. And, tbh Steph in year 14, KD in year 16, and Lebron in year 20 were all significantly better players than MJ in year 14 and 15. Level of competition got significantly harder in the mid-late 2000's and got even harder in 2010's and just continues to get harder and more talented every year. MJ extremely overrated, (not in his era, he is the goat there) but when you compare to players from this era, his player comparison/ceiling is Demar Derozon at best tbh

Then dropping 51-8-8 in game 1 vs the greatest team of all time, and almost stealing another game in game 3? Bully ball and defense travels. Its analogous to a smashmouth football teams that runs heavy and plays D...very hard to beat. *The LAL keep you at bay once they get the lead with steady 4-5 yard runs by getting easy looks at the rim with LBJ/AD. When its 3rd/4th and 1, they have 2 back who can get that yard by getting close to the rim.* The 50 yard bomb doesn't help when you need a yard (GSW).

    One thing I wish Swagu or Perk would have called out Stephen A on was When he talks about LeBron winning the championship in 2016 coming back from 3-1 He always talks about how the suspension and the injuries help LeBron win that championship.
    But when he talks about Steph Curry when he his first championship against LeBron in 2015 he just says Steph Curry beat LeBron in 2015 for the NBA Championship He doesn't even bring up That Kevin Love was out for the rest of the playoffs by round one because he got his arm yanked out of his shoulder by Kelly Olynyk when they play Boston, or with Kyrie cracked his knee cap in overtime in the Game 1 in the Finals.
    And if you bring that up they always say it's an excuse for LeBron losing in the Finals but let any superstar lose their star or superstar partner on their team for the remainder of the playoffs I don't think anybody could overcome that. Not even the legendary Michael Jordan would get over that if Scottie Pippen was out for any of their title runs

    A miracle involves some sort of luck in my opinion but they have actually outplayed the grizzlies & the defending champs.

    His Cavs ring will probably go down as one of the best in history.. Historic comeback down 3-1 against a 73-9 team. Steven A smoking that Kush.

    How about the goats of commentating? Stephen A Smith & Skip Bayless. These guys are the MJ and Bird of TV debates, absolutely incredible.
